So, my doctor gave me some new anxiety meds in an attempt to keep me from getting in trouble for fighting my coworkers, and today is day 1 of me taking them. Which like. I am less anxious, so I can’t fault him for that one. And I definitely think before I speak now. I’m not sure I remember how to speak, but at least I’m thinking before I attempt it?

"all mine."
pairing: lee russell x fem!reader word count: 2.5k summary: as the youngest teacher on staff, you enjoy taking your peers out for a night of dancing, drinking and gossiping. lee russell was one of the few who joined, the married man you’d fallen hopelessly in love with. warnings/tags: mdni! smut, affair/cheating, dirty dancing, oral (m-receiving), verbal degradation, unprotected sex, semi-public sex, i feel like i made lee a little ooc so forgive me!
“oh, come on, lee,” your voice was soft and gentle, humming sweetly like a songbird, “it’s friday night, and you’d rather go home? really?”
hazel eyes settled on you as you shared a table in the staff room. it was sixth period and you had a planning period. you may have been the youngest member of staff, but you were the most organized, meaning you could waste the hour away with your favourite person at north jackson high.
vice principal lee russell.
your bottom lip was jutted out in a pout as he stared at you with his chin in both hands. he kept a straight face for a few moments until he scoffed and waved you away, “don’t give me that fuckin’ look, you’re too good at guiltin’ people into doin’ shit. you’re a bad influence.”
you gasped, sitting up straight, “that’s rich coming from you. i recall you asking me to help you dig dirt on gamby when he was pissing you off last year, and i followed him around for an entire saturday like some serial-killer stalker. a saturday when i was supposed to hang with my girlfriends, mind you, so don’t get all grouchy with me about being a bad influence.”
he pursed his lips and his gaze flickered between your eyes, “fine, if you must know, i’m starting to feel old as shit, okay? everytime we go out i end up at home at four in the goddamn morning with a migraine and the luxury of a two-day fuckin’ hangover” lee admitted, “it’s a real pain in the ass, you know. if it isn’t for you pukin’ your guts out and needin’ help home every weekend, i’d be back home in the comfort of my own bed at a normal fuckin time.”
you lips curved into a small smile as you listened to the man whine and complain, “not my fault that someone buys me shots all night.”
“and that was the last time because i learned my fuckin’ lesson. you can’t handle your alcohol,” he pointed a finger at you, lips lifting at the corners to match your sweet, little smile.
lee russell was smitten with you, and it was a slippery slope that he’d been sliding down. he was a married man, after all, but the marriage came with its own complications.
“great talk. i’ll see you tonight, lee.” you winked at him, taking your coffee, and giving his shoulder a gentle squeeze as you walked past him. lee’s eyes stayed on your body, watching your hips sway with each movement.
you had him wrapped around your finger, and he fucking hated it.
loud music and flashing lights filled your senses as you sipped on your vodka soda, waiting for your peers to arrive as time ticked away. amanda, bill and jen were always ready to crush back shots and forget about the bullshit week of classes with you, but even they were late.
you checked your cellphone as you leaned up against the bar, seeing if you had any missed messages from your colleagues. nothing.
you downed the rest of your drink and made a stop in the washroom to touch up your makeup and adjust your outfit—something special you wore in hopes to impress lee. a short, black skirt that hugged your curves and a black halter top held with thin straps that did little to cover your skin.
staring at yourself in the mirror, you felt a mix of emotions, mostly disgust and embarrassment. lee was married, and here you were hurting your feet with four-inch heels and wearing an uncomfortable skirt in hopes that he’d see you and want to ravage you.
all for him to not even show up.
you swallowed your pride. maybe you would forget about the married man if you met someone nice on the dancefloor. someone single and your age.
your heels clicked against the tiled floor as you left the bathroom, eyes flickering around the busy club when your gaze settled on the man you’d fallen madly in love with. he was at the bar with two shots in front of him, hazel eyes eagerly searching for you. you stayed in the shadows a bit longer, your heart rate skyrocketing as you watched him standing there in his dark grey suit with red-patterned button down peeking from underneath.
he was such a dork—a nicely dressed dork.
those eyes you loved flickered in your direction, and your stomach filled with butterflies when his lips pulled into a toothy grin. he hadn’t even needed to beckon you, your legs working beyond your brain as you sauntered to his side.
“lee,” you beamed, wrapping your arms around your friend and giving him a quick hug, smelling the expensive, intoxicating cologne, “you’re the only one who showed,” your breath tickled his ear as you spoke, pulling back with a coy smile in your lips. you were quick to notice the way he looked you up and down, settling on your revealed skin until he met your eyes.
“really? no one else came?” he was shocked as he spoke, “well, those assholes are missing out,” he slid one of the tequila shots over to you, “because tonight is the fucking night we party our goddamn brains out. we’re not goin’ home until the sun is risin’, baby, i promise you that.”
the casual pet name sent a shiver up your spine, “what happened to being too old?” you asked with a smirk.
“a moment of weakness,” lee replied, “i’m lee fuckin russell, i’m fuckin’ invincible. i wanna’ get goddamn wasted!”
the tequila was warm down your throat, but you cringed at the taste. your work companion cheered, inhaling through his teeth sharply, “shit, that’s good,” he breathed, waving for the bartender to bring another round as he laid out cash on the counter to pay.
the second one went down smoother than the first, a lazy grin smeared along your lips as you focused your attention back on lee. he was already staring at you, smirking.
“why are you looking at me like a piece of meat?” you teased, licking your lips, and smoothing down the front of his suit with a delicate hand. your nails were painted a deep shade of red that matched his shirt.
“i’m allowed to admire a pretty woman,” he replied oh-so confidently, and you knew that he had showed up to the club with a few drinks already in his system, “did you dress up for me?”
this was the side of lee russell you always enjoyed seeing. the side that focused his attention solely on you, and made you feel wanted.
“you’re so full of yourself,” you laughed, cheeks warm, “i may have kept you in mind when i was getting ready.”
“i can tell,” he cocked his head to the side, unashamed in the way he reached forward and brushed your hair behind your ear. this was wrong on so many levels, but the thrill was a high that you chased, and you dared not to think about the consequences.
with the alcohol coursing through your body and the loud, bass-heavy music guiding your thoughts to the filthiest parts of your mind, you snagged lee’s hand in your own and laced your fingers together. lee russell was in a trance as he watched you lead him where the crowd of clubbers danced together—bodies grinding and arms strung around necks.
you glanced over your shoulder at him, the hunger in his eyes easy to spon even under the unpredictable lighting.
you were about to spin around and face the man, but you were surprised when his free hand landed on your hip, squeezing over the fabric of your skirt. his chest pushed flush against your back, lips tickling against your ear and causing a shudder to escape your lips.
it had been a long time since you danced like this with anyone, most nights you’d jump around the dancefloor with amanda and jen, sharing drunken laughs as lee watched you from afar. this was better.
his hips moved effortlessly with the music, yours moving in tandem as your ass bumped and swayed against the growing hard-on underneath his suit pants. your arms lifted above your head, his hands sliding up and down your sides, feeling over the bare skin revealed by your skimpy outfit.
you looked around the club, blinking and unable to focus on anything with the bright flashes of neon lights and tens of couples in the same situation as yourself. the alcohol had skewed your vision and all you could focus on was how wet you were between your legs, and the feeling of lee’s fingers caressing your exposed skin
“lee,” you breathed his name out as your head lolled back to rest against his shoulder, able to brush your lips against his jaw while hands tightened over your hips, “this is… wrong,” you could hardly speak.
your morals were showing, but you hadn’t the willpower to stop.
“it’s okay,” he hushed, head tilting enough that his lips barely brushed against yours, and it was then the alcohol seemed to hit you all at once.
you were quick to turn around in his arms, wrapping them around his neck and forcing your lips together in a kiss that had been dangling between you two for months. he licked into your mouth, parting your lips until he could slide his tongue against yours, fighting for dominance that wasn’t hard to win and leaving you wanting more.
everything happened fast.
one moment you two were tongue-fucking each other on the dancefloor, the next you were hidden away in the washroom on your knees with lee’s hands in your hair. his length was pushed deep in your throat as you sucked him off, addicted to the way his face twisted in pleasure as your tongue glided along the underside of his cock.
the music was muffled, but the washroom was loud with the sounds of girls chatting and laughing. doing coke together in the stalls, pouring alcohol out from the flasks they snuck in, and making so much noise that you weren’t worried when lee would choke out a moan or gasp your name.
your hands pressed against the front of his thighs as you bobbed your head, lips perfectly wrapped around him as his cock twitched in your mouth.
“get up,” he moaned shakily, taking your hair in his hands and yanking you from his cock. lips parted from it with a soft ‘pop’ and lee wanted so badly to keep going until your makeup was streaming down your cheeks, but he needed you, “i want to fuck you, baby,” he murmured, staring down at your eager, young face, “you won’t tell anyone, will you?”
“mhm,” you whimpered as you stood, and he pinned you against the door of the stall, “it’s our secret, just ours. i promise—”
he shut you up with his lips, a hand reaching down, so his fingers could push past your panties and waste no time in making you squirm and moan. two fingers plunged inside your cunt, and he smiled against your lips, “you’re so easy, aren’t you?”
the degradation wasn’t surprising, and you welcomed it wholly.
“bet you’ll take my cock so fuckin’ easy too, won’t you, baby?” he breathed heavy against your jaw, leaving sloppy kisses against your skin as his fingers stretched you just right, “do you want it? tell me how bad you want my cock and i’ll think about giving it to you.”
“lee,” you squirmed, hips twitching as you tried to stay upright with your legs spread for him, “i want it bad, really fucking bad. please, i need it.”
that’s all it took for lee’s impatience to get the best of him. he hooked one of your legs around his hips and replaced his fingers with his cock, slow as he filled you and pulling back to watch your pretty mouth go slack as your cunt ached around him.
“i’m not on the pill,” you were quick to whisper in his ear, your hips shaking as he started rocking his. you buried your face against his neck, scared to scream his name and let everyone in the bathroom know what you were doing.
“fuck,” he groaned into your ear, one hand on your thigh wrapped around him, the other against the metal stall door next to your head while yours tugged on his hair for dear life, “it’s okay, we’ll be okay. just—fuck,” he couldn’t finish his scrambled thoughts, his mind going blank as he fucked you slow and steady, “just shut up and take it.”
you listened obediently like you always had with him, your head falling back against the door as he fucked you, surprisingly tender in his movements. his hips rocked against yours slowly, stretching deep into your heat and leaving you a pathetic mess that could hardly stand on one foot.
“you’re so tight,” lee grunted, biting underneath your ear hard enough to leave a mark, “and you’re all mine, all fucking mine.”
you pressed a hand to your lips, shutting yourself up as lee’s movements quickened. the stall door started squeaking with each forward kick of his hips, and neither of you cared at this point. all you could do was take it like he told you, legs parted and cunt squeezing around his cock until he came, filling you like he dreamed about doing every night.
the following monday had rolled by too quickly for your liking. you’d spent most of your sunday alone in your apartment, recovering from your night out and wallowing in the guilt that came with being lee’s mistress of the night. he’d gone home before sunrise, dropping you off at home in your shared taxi and sending you off with a kiss that had you feeling all kinds of confused.
your stomach twisted as you thought about seeing him today.
the morning bell hadn’t rung yet, and you were lounging in the staff room with a coffee in your hands and listening to the chatter of teachers having their last few moments of freedom.
“bummer that you had to cancel saturday night,” amanda’s voice caught your attention as she walked into the staff room, “but i hope you’re feeling better. there is nothing worse than wasting your weekends being sick.”
you perked up, confusion on your face as she poured her coffee.
“after lee let us all know you weren’t feeling good on friday he planned for us to go to this new bar on the other side of town. it was actually really fun, but can you believe this?” she peered over her shoulder to look at you, “he didn’t even show up.”

hi babe!!! i was wondering if you could do a nico fic where reader has her period and is just not feeling good and he takes care of her and tons of fluff? 🥺💗 thank you i literally adore your writing!!!!
A/N: Thank you so much!! I’m glad you’re enjoying my content! Seriously, comments like this never get old and fill my lil cup right up! 💕 Sorry this is a little late. I was floating all over the place late last week hehe.
Word Count: 814
Warnings: Pretty fluffy, always a swearword or five from me, talks of periods, and pain. this is so sweet you might get a cavity. No I do not reimburse dental bills because of my writing 😉
You and Nico are out to brunch, enjoying a quiet, week day break in the middle of a bustling city. All around you, people rush to work, to-go coffee’s clutched tightly in their grips. But not you two. You and Nico casually lay back in your chairs, your foot in his lap across the table. His thumb strokes absentmindedly at your ankle as he reads the menu.
“I think I’m going to get the eggs benedict.” He concludes, shoving it away.
“I’ve been dying for french toast all week.” He reaches for his menu again, sliding it back to read the description.
“Salted caramel too.” He nods in approval.
“Yeah, I want anything sweet.” You gesture to your cup of coffee which you dumped four sugars into. You know you’re PMSing hard and warned Nico about it on your walk here.
“Whatever you want, babe.” He murmurs, dipping his thumb deeper into your foot beneath your sock. You watch him from across the table, drinking in his dark stubble, plumped morning lips and melting chocolate eyes. He scans the street out the window behind you as you sigh when he hits just the right spot. “Hey now.” He warns.
“It’s too late.” You tell him, placing your hand on the building of cramps in your lower abdomen. She’s here.
“Boo.” He frowns.
You blow out a heavy sigh, hoping that will help relieve some of the pressure. You order, then being chatting about the Devils’ upcoming road trip.
“Carolina, Nashville, Detroit, then home.” You nod, imagining the grind he is about to go through. He’ll leave tomorrow after practice. His nails scratch at his stubble as you adjust in your chair, removing your foot from him. You lean further over the table, trying to relieve the pain that is shooting through your uterus.
“Ow.” You moan. A concerned crinkle forms between his eyebrows.
“You okay, baby?”
“Yeah. I just need some Advil.” You dig in your purse, frowning when you don’t see the travel pack that is usually there. “Shit.” You mumble, digging further, getting desperate to see the small, circular cylinder. “I guess I’ll have to wait until we get home.” You wince again, digging your hands deeper in to provide counter pressure to the cramping.
“No. There is a drug store like two blocks down. I’ll go get it.” He stands immediately, taking one last sip of his coffee.
“Nico, it’s fine.” You call to him. He ignores you, walking out of the restaurant without even looking back for further discussion.
Ten minutes later, he returns just when your food comes out.
“Thank you.” You say graciously to him, popping the two pills into your mouth and swallowing them.
“You know seeing you in pain wrecks me.” He shrugs, stuffing a bite of his breakfast between his lips.
“Yeah, that’s why you’re my favorite.” His cheesy smile makes you chuckle.
The pain eventually begins to subsided, but you feel bloated and a bit queasy, so your French toast is relatively untouched by the time Nico finishes his meal. You put it in a box but know it’s kinda pointless- you’re not going to eat it.
“Ugh.” You complain as you walk through the apartment door, putting your hands on your lower back where the muscles are tense.
“Go lay on the floor.” He points to the living room. “I’ll work on that and we can watch a movie. Whatever you want.”
“Really? Even catch up on The Bachelor.” He closes his eyes in regret, but opens them and nods. You can’t even pretend. Your laughter bursts from your mouth as you reach for the remote. “I’m feeling nice today. How about Mighty Ducks?” You begin to pull up Disney+ then lay on your stomach, waiting for Nico and his healing hands.
Together, you are quiet as his fingers work into your sore flesh. Your head is propped on your crossed arms, eyes closed, listening to the movie rather than watching. Eventually, your eyes are shut because you’re falling asleep. Between Nico’s hands and the pain medicine, you’re feeling considerable better and just want to cuddle.
“Baby, let’s go to bed.” He suggests before you can. He turns the TV off, then rolls you onto your back so he can help you up. He throws an arm around your shoulder, smooching your temple as you enter your room.
“Snuggle me so hard I can’t move.” You request as you both slide beneath your heavy, white comforter.
“You got it.” He chuckles, wrapping his large hands around you, pulling you to him by your butt. You nuzzle your nose into the crook of his neck. He squeezes you to him to the point you can only take in shallow breaths.
“Yeah, just like this.” You confirm as your legs intertwine between his knees. His thigh secures you in place.
Sleep pulls you further from reality as Nico ghosts his lips over yours then works against each side of your chin.
“Love you.” He whispers.
Nico Hischier is just what the doctor ordered.

Could you write a story where Michael finally gets to visit his home planet and he of course takes Alex with him. Every one on the planet is just absolutely smitten with Alex and Michael is so damn proud? ❤
@ashleymarie1684
***
At first, Michael had thought it was a joke. His brother had come to his and Alex’s house, sat down with a solemn expression and a promise in his eyes, and asked him if he wanted to go to Oasis.
“There’s a lab,” he’d explained, “below the throne room. A portal here and back closes every week. Liz and I were looking into it with Dallas’s help, and we think we can open it on this side. Just the one time, and then when you come back, there’s no chance of opening it again or we risk sending all of Roswell through.
“And Michael,” he’d held Michael’s gaze here, reassuring, “the palace is safe for humans. It was part of Nora and Louise’s experimenting when they were making me, they knew I’d need to adjust to different climates, and their air filter’s just been running the whole time. If you’re still worried about Alex getting radiation poisoning again, I’ll just heal him when you guys get back anyway, so he’s at no risk.” His fingers interlocked, his knuckles white, Max had said, “What do you think, brother?”
Michael hadn’t known what to say, what to believe, but Alex – his always-steady, controlled, loving Alex – was pressed to his side; he took Michael’s hands, which he hadn’t realized he’d been clenching hard enough to carve his nails into his skin, and interlocked their fingers, giving him something else to cling to.
“We’ll leave as soon as possible.”
That was how Michael found himself now, staring out a large arched window in an even larger room, overlooking a landscape of shimmering trees, bushes, and a mountainside that all glittered like the pieces of his spaceship. The scientist part of Michael wanted to go outside and test the grounds, see if they felt anything like his alien glass. The bigger side didn’t dare leave Alex out of his eyesight, and if he was being honest with himself, just didn’t want to go without Alex, period. It was strange, not what he’d expected. They’d been here two days, the initial shock overshadowed by the palace full of people who knew him and called him by a name he had a hard time remembering seconds after he’d heard it.
They’d known of Max, but it was Michael and Isobel who they’d remembered as children. Michael didn’t remember any of them, but they didn’t seem to mind.
“You’ve got that look,” Alex sighed, leaning against the wall on the other side of the window, his arms crossed.
“What look?”
Alex smiled, amused. “That ‘I’m-stuck-in-my-head-and-can’t-get-out’ look.” He tilted his head, his bangs falling over his beautiful eyes. “Talk to me, baby.”
Michael swallowed. They were alone now, still dressed in their flannel and jeans and winter jackets, and Michael stole glances at his husband, checking for any sign of black veins peeking out of his collar or sleeves. He’s fine, he kept telling himself, he’s safe.
“I don’t know what’s wrong with me,” he murmured, eyes searching the eternally-twilit sky, hoping that the stars or the planets and multiple moons he could see from here would give him some answers. He kind of wished he could just go up to the roof and map them out, but the rest of his charts weren’t here. They were back home, covering the coffee table of their living room because he always got swept up in his work, marked with dark rings from Alex’s steaming cups of tea, forgotten when Michael would take him inside to ravish him.
“Nothing,” Alex said loyally.
Michael’s lips quirked into a small smile despite himself. “Well, thank you. I guess I just . . . I don’t know, I thought I’d get here and feel . . . right, you know? This is where I belong, this is what I’ve been waiting for, this is what I’ve been working towards. Now I’m here and . . .”
Alex watched him quietly, waiting. His steadiness helped Michael breathe a little easier; he had no idea how tense he was until he exhaled shakily, the knot unraveling in his shoulders.
He shrugged, a little helpless smile tugging at his lips. “I miss our home.” Alex’s eyes softened, but he didn’t look particularly surprised. Now that Michael had started, however, a dam opened and he huffed, “I miss our lazy Sunday mornings, and dinner on the living room couch, and smelling coffee when I wake up because you’re always up before me, and everything just feels so much more alive because . . . because it might not have been the home I had been working for, but it was the home we’d been working for, and now it just kind of feels like I’m a visitor in the place I’m supposed to be, and I don’t know what to do with that.”
“You’re supposed to be with me,” Alex said easily, like it was just fact. “And we’ve only been here two days, Michael. If you wanted to spend a longer time, years, until we created another home here, we can do that.”
Michael pursed his lips, eyes burning. He couldn’t voice his mess of thoughts, so he just shook his head. No, he silently said, I don’t want that.
He couldn’t stay here without Max and Isobel, he couldn’t stay without Walt and Dallas and even the Ortecho sisters and Valenti who he’d deny were growing on him. Most of all, he couldn’t trap Alex here. He’d never be able to go outside, to explore, to see anything beyond the walls of the palace which he’d been doing since they’d gotten here. The closest his husband would ever get to fresh air would be this; standing by a window. He couldn’t doom the man he loved to that, and even if Alex was fine with it, Michael would never be. Alex was his heart, his thoughts, the air in his lungs; how would he ever be able to breathe knowing that he was yet again someone in Alex’s life that forced him to settle for good enough?
“Let’s give it another week,” Alex said, taking Michael’s hand. “Get your fill of the place, and then if you still want to leave, we’ll leave. Where you go, I go, Michael. As long as you’re here, I don’t care where we are.” His smile widened, like he was fighting off a laugh. “And stop scanning me, I’m fine. If I had any trouble breathing, I promise I’d tell you.”
Michael swallowed, running his hands over Alex’s chest, just to feel his beating heart. “I know, I know that.”
“Do you though?” he said, definitely laughing now.
Just like that, the weight on Michael’s chest dissipated, and he smiled, about to retort when –
“Mr. Guerin,” a butler, Jeremy, glided in, and Michael almost jumped. Everyone was so freaking quiet here and softspoken. The whole butler thing had also taken a minute to get used to, but someone had to mind the palace, he guessed, especially since its rulers had been sent to earth.
Yeah, Michael wasn’t going to start unpacking the truth of that either. Oasis had thrived without them, and he believed the people he’d met were legitimately good. They aided those who came to the palace in need of any food or shelter or supplies. Honestly, Michael had kind of felt like he was getting in the way when he’d arrived. Still, Jeremy had been so attentive and kind that he had a hard time feeling unwanted here.
“Yeah?” he started, but Jeremy was already hurrying towards Alex.
“Mr. Guerin,” he scolded as much as a softspoken man could, “you forgot your scarf! The weather is terribly cold for a human, you could get sick!”
Alex smiled, a little bemused as he’d been since they arrived and everyone lavished him with attention. “Thanks, Jeremy, but I’m fine.”
“Fine doesn’t keep the body strong, does it?” he demanded.
“Oh, Mr. Guerin!” a tall woman appeared, Sofie, mittens on and a tray of what looked like rainbow cookies in her hands. Michael tried to answer, but she’d come right up to Alex as well. “I made your favorites! You said you liked Germanium cookies, didn’t you?”
“Is that what that flavor was?” Alex blinked. “Yeah, uh, I loved them.”
Sofie beamed, her face red. “I’m also making clam stew for dinner! We fished them just this morning out of the river for you, so they ought to be –”
“Excuse me, Sofie,” Jeremy said, “but I believe I was speaking to Mr. Guerin first.”
“You’ve gotten your fill,” she openly whined. “I want to look at him – er, talk to him!”
“Does anyone care I’m here?” Michael muttered when the two started politely arguing for Alex’s attention.
“I care,” Alex said, once again ready as though nothing mattered to him except Michael knowing how important he was.
“Mr. Guerin!” another voice boomed, this one belonging to a large man, Marian, with a stethoscope around his neck, except this one had jewels at the end of it and was mostly made of glass. Michael didn’t even bother acknowledging the summons this time as Marian came to a stop in front of Alex, panting. “Mr. Guerin, please, you must watch your blood pressure here! This atmosphere isn’t always safe for humans, you shouldn’t be standing next to the window, of all places!”
Alex smiled kindly and thanked everyone for their attentiveness, and they all swooned and softened in a way people only did for Alex, and Michael watched on, hiding a secret smile.
Despite his teasing, he had been beaming at the love Alex had received since they’d gotten here. He might stick around another two weeks just because he’d felt bad about leaving Oasis in the first place – though that hadn’t been his fault – and he wanted to give these people someone to adore, at least for a while. He got Alex for the rest of their lives. He supposed he could share his husband for a few more days.
Just as long as everyone kept their hands to themselves; he was kind, not a saint.

Can you do 19 please? 🥹
I sure can!
19. “Stop fighting it. You need sleep.”
Prompt taken from here
Read on AO3
-
Chloe hadn’t felt right about leaving Beca home alone so soon after getting back from the hospital, but Beca insisted she’d be fine and that Chloe should go to work.
Chloe didn’t want to, but she also knew she couldn’t really ask for any more time off. They’d been understanding to an extent, but it had been weeks now, and Chloe had long run out of PTO and favours she could ask.
What should have been a simple appendectomy had resulted in complications and even a follow-up surgery.
And Beca was on the mend now, finally allowed to recover at home, but that didn’t mean she wasn’t still in a lot of pain.
“I’ll be fine,” Beca said, wincing as she lowered herself to the couch, one hand pressed against her side. “All I’ll be doing is sitting on the couch and watching TV. I won’t even open my laptop if that’ll make you feel better.”
“What if you need something? What if you can’t get to the bathroom, or you trip, or-”
“Chloe, I’m okay,” Beca said. “I don’t want to be the reason you get fired. If something happens, I’ll call you.”
Chloe huffed, but Beca didn’t cave.
“Fine,” Chloe said. “But you need to make sure you eat something. You can’t have your pain meds on an empty stomach. There are leftovers in the fridge, you just need to heat them up.”
“Go before you’re late,” Beca said, trying to hide the discomfort from her face as she adjusted her position on the couch.
After a quick kiss goodbye, Chloe left for work.
She’d messaged Beca periodically throughout the day and received a response each time, but it didn’t ease the knot of worry from her stomach.
When she finally got home that night, she practically sprinted through the door and to the living room.
The sun had set, but it seemed that Beca hadn’t gotten up to switch on the light.
The knot of worry in Chloe’s stomach turned into panic very quickly.
“Bec?”
Chloe switched on the light. Beca was in the exact same place she’d left her.
In fact, it looked like she hadn’t moved at all.
“Beca?”
Chloe moved quickly until she was kneeling down beside the couch.
Beca was pale, a sheen of sweat on her forehead, her fists gripping the sofa so tightly that her knuckles had gone white.
“Baby, what happened?”
“Nothing,” Beca said, her jaw clenched. “It just hurts. Can you… I need the bathroom, can you help me up?”
Chloe did, and she half-carried Beca to the bathroom.
“Do we need to go to the hospital?” Chloe asked, leaning against the closed bathroom door, waiting for Beca to finish.
“No,” was Beca’s response.
“You shouldn’t be in this much pain,” Chloe said. “Maybe your meds aren’t working, or maybe-”
“I didn’t take them,” Beca said, cutting her off.
Chloe pulled open the door at the sound of the toilet flushing.
“What do you mean you didn’t take them?”
Beca washed her hands and moved past Chloe to return to the couch.
“Beca, we need to talk about this,” Chloe said. “You’re in pain - so much pain that you couldn’t get off the couch - you need to take your meds. If for nothing else then at least so you can sleep. The doctor said you need rest.”
“I don’t like how they make me feel,” Beca said, wincing again as she sat on the couch.
“Is it worse than the pain you’re in right now?” Chloe asked.
Beca sighed and shook her head. “I thought I could start at least reducing the dose, but by the time I really needed them, I couldn’t get off the couch to get them.”
“Why didn’t you call me?”
“Because you’ve missed enough work because of me,” Beca said. “And I thought, well, if I can’t get them then I can’t take them. I thought the pain would pass eventually.”
“Beca, you got out of surgery a week ago,” Chloe said. “We’ve been home from the hospital for two days, now is not the time to go cold turkey on your pain meds. You need to give your body a chance to heal first, and you need to get some rest. The doctor wouldn’t have prescribed them if he didn’t think you’d need them.”
“I get all… dizzy and confused,” Beca said. “They make my head hurt and I feel like I can’t think straight.”
“It isn’t forever, Bec,” Chloe said. “It’s just until you’re better. You can’t possibly get any sleep when you’re in this much pain, and you need to sleep in order to heal.”
Beca sighed. “Fine,” she said. “But only for a few more days, and then I want to start reducing them.”
Chloe felt her shoulders relax, and she kissed the side of her head. “I’ll call your doctor and talk to him about it,” Chloe said. “Did you eat today?”
Beca bit her lip and gave a guilty shake of the head.
“Bec, you’re not making it any easier for me to leave you on your own, you know that right?”
“I’m sorry,” Beca said. “I just really wasn’t hungry. I promise I’ll do better tomorrow.”
“I’m gonna make you something,” Chloe said. “And you’re going to eat it, and take your meds, and go to sleep like a good patient, okay?”
Beca couldn’t help but smirk. “Yes doctor,” she said.
“Hmm, you can look at me like that all you want,” Chloe said, “but tomorrow you’re getting a babysitter.”
Once they had eaten and Beca had taken her meds, Chloe helped her back to their room and got her settled in bed.
“Will you stay?” Beca asked.
“Of course,” Chloe said, kissing the top of her head.
She turned on the TV because she knew background noise helped Beca settle, and climbed onto the bed beside her.
She ran her hands through Beca’s hair, and watched as her blinks got slower. It seemed to take more and more effort for her to pull her eyes open, and at one point she let out a soft groan, her eyebrows furrowing as the dizziness started to kick in.
“I know you don’t like it,” Chloe said. “I’m sorry that you’re having to go through all this.”
Beca groaned again and reached for Chloe’s free hand, gripping it tightly to try and ground herself against the sudden vertigo she was feeling.
“Stop fighting it,” Chloe said, her thumb rubbing across Beca’s knuckles, as her other hand continued to play with her hair. “You need to sleep, baby. Close your eyes.”
“I hate this,” Beca mumbled, finally letting her eyes shut, her brows pulling together as she did.
“I know,” Chloe said.
Eventually, the tension left Beca’s body, and her face relaxed, but Chloe didn’t move from her spot, and she wouldn’t for the rest of the night.
Beca had asked her to stay, so that’s what she’d do.

This is a little personal so I’ll probably delete it later.
But I’m feeling kind of...unsettled.
I had an absolutely shitty Thursday and Friday and the reasons kind of struck pretty hard. On Thursday my manager gets in touch with me about me requesting “reasonable adjustments” for this new work schedule, because we’re going to be in the office twice a week some weeks and I fucking HATE going to the office. I can’t stress enough how it makes me very anxious and restless - my team never talk to each other, there’s lots of noise to overstimulate me and we hotdesk so I don’t even have my own place to sit. It’s basically like working in isolation for seven hours - at home I can listen to music or put on the TV, whatever, and I’m fine, but ironically at work I feel more lonely than I do when I’m by myself.
So I asked my manager to request to the head of department if I can do half a day on the two-days in the office and just finish the rest of my work at home - I only live like ten minutes away from the office so I could just walk there on my lunch break. My manager got back to me yesterday and basically told me the department head said no. For no real reason except “she wants you to go in like everyone else”, which is basically the corporate version of “because I said so.”
Let me also add - there is absolutely nothing I do at the office I can’t accomplish at home. I also don’t think the head of department knows my name or what I look like, and like I already said, nobody on my team talks to each other, so it’s not like anybody would notice I wasn’t there and went, “Oh my god! We can’t possibly do all this work without her!” (The head did say she’d allow a ‘transitional period’ for me to get used to the two-day week, but since she said that would last maybe a few weeks, that’s the same as saying no since she’s not actually compromising at all.)
So that was a whole thing, and then on Friday I had a terrible driving lesson that had me crying in a carpark. My instructor insisted I move my lesson from February 22nd to February 1st - then on Friday I wasn’t driving well, so we end up in a carpark and she proceeds to start telling me I made a shit-ton of mistakes, I’d definitely fail if I drove like that in the test, etc, etc. So I had to go home and reschedule it YET AGAIN, after she’s the one who pushed me to change it. (Also, I was really upset after this conversation, then I drove back home except I was driving even worse after having my confidence shattered and my instructor’s like, “Your driving is getting erratic so pull over and I’ll take over” - why did she make me drive home after seeing how upset I was? No idea.)
My mum calls on Friday and asks what’s wrong. I told her and she proceeded to randomly take the driving instructor’s side - she was like, “Well she’s within her rights to do that, what did you want her to do, tell you you were doing great when you weren’t?” Which obviously I didn’t - I know I was driving badly, but being told for like ten minutes I’m doing a fucking horrible job made me feel like a failure, and I can’t help but think she set me up for it when she’s the one who made me move the test in the first place.
My mum and I usually get along well so I was pretty taken aback by her attitude and we ended up having this argument - and at one point I started crying again because I was frustrated. Instead of seeing I was upset and overwhelmed, my mum just keeps arguing, tells me she doesn’t understand why I’m upset, etc.
Today I talked to her and tried to explain a bit better why I got so upset, and it’s not because I had to reschedule the test, but more like I feel like she set me up for a fail by making me move my test forward unnecessarily and that I’m going to be more stressed/uncomfortable about my driving instructor going forward, since I don’t feel like I trust her judgement as much anymore.
My mum then apologises for handling the call badly, but then she also doubles down on her stance and says, “Look I know you were stressed about Thursday, but you can’t drive badly just because you were upset things didn’t go your way at work” and then also said, “So-and-so is the head of the department, so if she doesn’t think the reasons you’ve provided are good enough to not do the same work days as everyone else, you’ve kind of just got to accept it.”
And I’m just...bewildered that my mum is being so fucking callous about how every person I feel like I can be open with about my issues have kind of fucked me over? And the weird thing is she’s usually a pretty emotionally in-tune person but for some reason she’s acting like I’m a child having a tantrum instead of...you know...having some fucking empathy? Not being a condescending asshole and taking sides with her fellow boomers over me?
I don’t know. Like I’m glad we’re not in a fight and not speaking to each other, but I’m still kind of pissed off that she completely dismissed everything I said and basically went, “Well, you’ve just got to suck up being treated unfairly because that’s how it is.”
So now I don’t know what to do. If I try to talk to her again I don’t think she’s going to act any different and probably say something like, “Well, clearly we disagree so let’s just leave it.”
But...now I think I should just stop being so open with my mum about when I’m having problems, especially with work. Because if she’s not going to bother trying to understand where I’m coming from and take anybody else’s side over mine, then why talk to her about anything at all?

Saturday Weigh-in
124.4 lbs.
Aaaand welcome to PMS week.
So. I didn’t end up relaxing any of my dietary “rules” this week, and I kind of ended up regretting it. Yesterday was another 500 calorie day- and while I felt fine during my 10-hour nursing shift, it all kind of fell apart for me when I got home and found out we had company and I would need to figure out how to avoid dinner without it becoming “a thing.”
My fiancé is an evening eater, which places him in the comfortable majority. He can go most of the day without eating anything substantive- then demolish an entire pizza by himself, chase it with a full bowel of nuts and raisins, chase that with an apple and almond butter/whatever chocolate we have lying around, and wash it all down with a few Old Fashioned cocktails. All within a two-three hour period, usually after work and before bedtime.
My typical eating window has been falling between 9 am and 2 pm- since, I reason, I’m most physically active earlier in the day. But it means that if I ever want us to eat together- something he has made it clear that he would like- I need to make a point of preparing breakfast or lunch for us both. (Or pushing my fasting hours significantly out to accommodate dinner.)
It’s made me self-conscious and frustrated.
I overheard him tell our company (his brother) “She doesn’t eat dinner” last night, as they tucked into some chicken and broccoli. As if I hadn’t prepared us both dinner the other night. As if we hadn’t all enjoyed dinner out with friends that past weekend, at my recommendation.
“Ah, okay,” came my future brother-in-law’s too-breezy response.
I felt like an absurdity. I also felt a pang of annoyance.
Like, sorry. I’m sorry I’m not the carefree, mashed potato-loving woman you fell for. That woman was 20 lbs heavier, and it sucked.
Also. Sidebar. I don’t really understand why dinner seems to be the most socially revered of all mealtimes- and almost always the heaviest? The average person eats dinner and is engaged in a completely sedentary activity until bedtime. (Except for like, evening body builders, I guess?)
If food is “fuel,” then why fill the car all the way up just for it to sit in the garage?
I don’t know. I’m just feeling defensive and crappy about it all. Now that I hit goal weight, I felt comfortable enough to make a bunch of adjustments for him this week. But I keep getting put in these situations where I can feel attention being drawn to my eating habits. And I don’t like it.
Anyway.
Damn the scale. No 500 calorie days this upcoming week. I was so mentally and physically exhausted last night, I passed out at 8 pm.
Maybe I’ll just reserve those days for if my cravings/hunger get out of control again, as a kind of “reset.”

Okay, it's the weekend. So, I'll tell you about my week. I'm not going to go into super detail, so if there is something I don't touch up on, and your curious, just message me and I'll respond eventually, lol.
So, my official teaching week is Monday through Thursday, Fridays are mainly for prep, although I have to teach one kindergarten class and attend a meeting. Prep is a lot, though, and takes me pretty much the whole day. I also have to go in at 9:30am on Fridays, instead of 12:30pm, like every other day.
Monday through Thursday's are kind of like this: From 12:30pm to 3:00pm, I am at the kindergarten. I teach 2 classes, and I observe a class. I also have a little prep time first. At 3:00, I have to head over to the main school, about a 10 minute walk, and get ready for my other classes. Each day is different, and no 2 weeks are the same. It's very hard to explain this without you guys full seeing the way the schedule works, but yea. Also, the students we have on M/W are different from the ones we have on T/Th. And the week is broken up into M/T and W/Th. See, confusing. So, for instance, I may have class 1C3 on Monday and Tuesday. But the students on each day are completely different. And then, I may not even have that class W/Th. I think I have the hang of that part, but I know it's confusing for a lot of people, lol.
I am responsible for teaching grammar, which..for the younger kids is fine. But for the older ones, I'm learning right along side them, lol. Most of the kids have been polite and great, some of the younger ones have been loud and can't focus, and the older ones are nice, but very tired (understandable, they take so many classes, plus regular school). Even if it does get frustrating when they don't listen, I don't blame them. This is an after school thing, so they've already had a full day of school, then multiple classes with us, it's a lot.
I think I definitely still need to get the hang of being an engaging teacher, although the school has been very understanding that I am new and will need time to adjust.
So, there are also going to be some days where I have a couple vacant periods, where I have no students. Those are prep time. Sometimes, I may not, like this coming Thursday, which is going to be straight classes all day, and just..a lot, lol.
Classes end at 8:15pm, then I have to clean 2 of the classrooms and have them checked and then I'm free to go. After a 25 minute walk home, I can finally relax.
So, those are my typical days. On the weekends, I can do whatever I want, obviously, and once I get more settled, I'll definitely do more exploring.
#sam moves to korea#teaching in korea#it's a lot#if i'm being honest#and the first day i had a bit of a breakdown#as i wasn't expecting this amount of classes#but i'm praying i get more used to it#i really am

The Selection || Part 2 ||
Hello and welcome back to The Selection! Thank you to all of the positive feedback that I received on Part one! I did not expect this to blow up as much as it did, I am beyond blessed!

Word count: 4.1k
The alarm rung all too soon the next morning and you groaned, rolling out of the safe cocoon of your tattered bedsheets to get ready for the day. After showering outside and securing your still wet locks in a smart braid, you ventured back into your bedroom and got changed into your best dress. You stood in front of the mirror and frowned at your reflection. This was going to be the last time that you would be here, in this room, with your family, for a long while. Thor’s Selection period lasted a good two months but you knew that yours might take longer because none of the contestants actually wanted to be there.
With a deep sigh, you walked out of the bedroom with your bag full of clothes and sat at the rickety table for breakfast with your family. Reality had sunk in for your little sisters that you wouldn’t be around anymore and that was overpowering their excitement. You saw the moment that the realisation sunk in, and you sighed as you pulled them close to your chest, peppering kisses to their foreheads tenderly.
“I’ll be home before you know it,” you whispered gently, your nails tenderly carding through their curly locks before you looked at the clock and withdrew yourself from their touch. Seven forty. Time to go.
You adjusted the bag over your shoulder and, your hand firmly in Milly’s, you headed to the train station with your family. You came to a stop when you realised that the whole town had congregated around the station to see you off and congratulate you. You didn’t want their praise; you wanted to just stay home and live a mundane life away from The Selection and its countless cameras. For you, that game was more of a punishment disguised as an honour, once you were royal you had to follow so many rules.
“Lady Y/N,” a voice spoke from behind you and you turned to see that it was the baker, Mr Francis. He was a family friend and had allowed you to do your work experience in his bakery, for him to be here it meant that the whole town would soon wish to send you off with kind regards. “We are all honoured that you were chosen, you inspire everybody in this town,” the baker smiled before fumbling through his jacket and pulling out a box of cupcakes, “for the journey. You deserve it, my lady.”
“I don’t know what to say, Mr Francis,” you breathed, staring at the offered box of cupcakes, “I can’t take these, it wouldn’t be fair, give them to my family. They need them more than I will.”
The baker’s smile never failed as he took one cake out of the box and stuffed it into your hands before giving the box to your father. Once the man turned back to you, he smiled and shook his head, “even if you’re going to Asgard, a taste of home never hurts, my lady.”
Tears rose to your eyes as the baker walked away through the gathering crowd of people. One face was distinguishable through the crowd and that was your best friend. You called her name and her eyes lit up, delighted in your attention and she walked over quickly, clasping your hands in hers.
“I knew, I just knew,” the girl breathed, a delighted smile on her face as she looked at you, “you will make a fine Princess, Y/N!”
You groaned her name and rolled your eyes before pulling her into a hug. “I’ll be home next week, trust me. A Midgardian like me against the delicacies of the other eight Realms? Don’t even bother making my bed.”
Your mother scoffed and ran a hand through your hair with a small smile on her face. “My darling, do not think so harshly of yourself,” she whispered tenderly as your eyes raised to meet hers, “you will do us proud. You have always been our little girl, sweet one.”
“Mama,” you whispered before jumping into her arms and clinging tight to her, “I hope the money can help everyone! I want us to be happy! We were happy before this anyway!”
Your father chuckled and cupped your cheek, making you look up at him and he pressed a gentle kiss to your temple. “You always see the positives, Y/N,” he whispered, smiling at you as you tilted your head, “but you know that we were not happy living this way. Whether you win and become Princess or stay for enough time to get us that first bit of money, it will benefit us so much. Do us proud.”
You stood tall and nodded to your father with a smile, enveloping him in a tight hug before you turned to the public and smiled at the attention you were getting from everybody. All the people that you had helped throughout the years in your town had come to see you off and you were beyond pleased that they did.
The school children had made you a banner, holding it up proudly with it saying ‘Good luck, Y/N!’ in barely legible handwriting. You smiled and ventured over to the children, taking your time talking to each of them while you took every flower they offered to you. In the end, your hair was covered with flowers and so was your dress along with your bag. You were smiling so hard that you knew it wouldn’t fade for hours!
As you stepped up to the awaiting train, the mayor was there to greet you. You stared at him in shock before he held out his hand and said ‘good luck’ in a gruff voice that you knew meant that he was displeased with the result. He wanted his perfect Sandra to be Selected. You did too.
You nodded your head to him and then boarded the train. The inside was more lavish than you had ever seen before, golden lines accentuating the walls and the symbol of Asgard on the wall opposite the door. With a nervous breath, you stepped into one of the compartments and sat down after placing your bag on the rack above your head.
From the window, you saw your family standing together and waving to you. Milly was crying as she waved, mouthing ‘bye bye, Y/N’ as she did. Donna was more composed but you saw her watery eyes and the longing in her eyes that you sympathised with, you knew exactly how the girl felt. Your mother had a smile on her face and she was waving to you pleasantly, pride overwhelming the grief of you leaving. Your father was waving and he looked sad, longing, like Donna and he blew you a kiss as the train began to pull away from the station.
You heard Donna scream ‘Milly!’ and you swapped seats to watch Milly run to the end of the platform waving and calling out your name. The poor girl, she’d get better with time. You couldn’t help but feel terrible for leaving your sister but there was nothing you could do about it, you were on your way to Asgard.
The train chugged through the towns as discussed before stopping at the designated Bifrost site. As you disembarked the train with your bag, you were met by the same men that had come to your house.
“Glad to see you again, Miss Y/N,” the first spoke, a smile playing at his lips, “you shall promptly be brought by Bifrost to Asgard to meet the royal family but before you go, you shall be put in a carriage with three other contestants, it is vital that you form some friendships before going in. You probably saw what happened two years ago.”
You had. One girl specifically was getting close to Prince Thor, they had bonded and were going well but unfortunately, the girls had turned on her and framed her of trying to sabotage Prince Thor’s allocated time with others and she was sent home. You had a feeling no-one would do that in Loki’s case but you didn’t say that.
“Heimdall said he was ready,” the second spoke up, handing you a sheet of paper that had three names on it and the carriage number, “safe travels, lady Y/N.”
You nodded and in under ten seconds, light enveloped you and you were pulled across space. You closed your eyes and tried your best not to cry and as soon as it had started, it was over. Your feet landed delicately on the golden floor of the legendary Asgardian Observatory. Upon the dais, you saw Heimdall, the gatekeeper, staring down at you before he inclined his head to the opening of the Observatory.
“Thank you,” you muttered, straightening your dress before heading out onto the rainbow bridge.
You stared at the bridge in fear, petrified that something would break, and you’d be plunged into the abyss, never to be seen again. Shakily, you made your way to your assigned carriage and saw the lovely ladies awaiting you. One of them you could tell was from high nobility, but you couldn’t tell where from. You were at war between Alfheim and Vanaheim because of her beauty.
“Hello! So nice to meet you!” the girl beside her smiled, holding out her delicate hand upwards so you could see the beautiful polish that adorned her long nails, “my name is Lady Cleo Dameerin. I am from Fetsheim in Vanaheim, it is lovely to meet you.”
“And I am Lady Phoebe Meera,” a second girl chipped in, happily waiting for you to shake her hand, “I am from Midgard. London.”
The first girl that you saw looked you up and down as if she was stalking her next victim before she pushed her hand towards you with a prudish, “Lady Lorelei of Vanaheim.”
Timidly, you smiled at all three of them before dipping into a curtsy and smiling pleasantly. “I am Y/N Y/L/N, I come from Midgard and I’m from a small city called Brekstad. We used to have a thriving population, but money was needed to create a Bifrost site years ago and we were left with very little people and money.”
“How awful,” Lorelei sneered, focused more on her nails than on the conversation you were trying to have with her, “still, you must have had some benefit. You got here, didn’t you?”
You stared at the girl in shock before deciding brush off her entitled remarks. “My town was granted power long enough to watch the draw yesterday and my sisters were so excited it was me. They always said that I would make a good princess.”
Phoebe cooed and clapped her hands together with a bright smile. “I do hope they have enough power to watch you all the way through!” she smiled politely, “knowing my parents and siblings are watching me is somewhat of a comfort. This is the first time that I have been away from home without my sister and mother.”
Cleo opened the door to the carriage and exclaimed ‘well I never!’ when Lorelei barged past her to be first into the carriage. You scoffed at her behaviour before helping the two girls into the carriage and getting in behind them, closing the door behind you.
“I hope we get good money for this,” Lorelei remarked once you were halfway to the palace. Her brows were pulled together, and she looked out of the window with clear distaste.
“Come on,” you pressed, attempting to get her to open up a little, be kinder to the women she was riding with, “this doesn’t just have to be about money.”
“Of course, it does!” Lorelei snarled, her eyes snapping to yours with disdain. She looked violent and unapproachable, like a woman that has known all the benefits of life and has no empathy for the rest. “Face it, Prince Loki is just the scraps,” she continued, rolling her eyes, “I entered to marry Prince Thor two years ago. Unfortunately, I didn’t win The Selection and instead, I am being forced to be around the unwanted one.”
Cleo frowned as she picked at her glove bows, glancing between you and Phoebe before speaking up, “perhaps not being heiress to the throne will do us good? It isn’t all about the money, after all, many people go for Prince Loki because of him being the second son.”
“Don’t be ridiculous,” Lorelei snarled, rolling her eyes and glaring at the girl sat beside her, “if you settle for second then you have lost the game. It’s position that people look for before anything else, if you do not have ‘heiress to the throne’ before your name, you haven’t lived at all.”
“Then you haven’t lived at all,” you quipped, glaring at her as your lip pulled into a smirk. The girl looked aghast before falling silent and scowling at you while you stared at her innocently, pretending to not understand why she didn’t like you in that moment.
From that moment on, Lorelei was left out of the conversation that you, Cleo and Phoebe began to discuss. You were proud of yourself for making friends so quickly into the competition and you knew that you would try to help these two ladies with their journey to getting Prince Loki’s heart. You held no chance, so you’d try to help the others in their quest.
The carriage pulled up to the castle and the three of you marvelled at the sight of the glorious golden castle looming above you. You had heard legends of the legendary palace in the sky, where Odin and his family watched over the Nine Realms, guided them and fuelled their power. With a gulp, you got out of the carriage and helped your friends out, leaving Lorelei to get out herself.
A maid appeared to the right as the crowd of twelve lovely ladies appeared from different carriages with varying expressions; nervousness, boredom, determination, greed.
“Welcome to the Asgardian Palace!” the maid announced with a smile, gesturing behind her as if the castle needed to be pointed out against the skyline, “I am the head maid of the castle, my name is Sara. You lucky twelve shall have two personal maids while you reside in the palace, if they are not to your liking, come to me. Now, when you enter the palace, you will be brought to the throne room to meet with the King, Queen and Prince Loki. This shall be your home indefinitely, please respect the artefacts.”
Sara seemed like a lovely lady, well paid for her job and respected enough to be chosen to introduce the twelve of you to the castle. The golden doors opened, and you decided to follow behind the eager girls that picked up their skirts and scurried up the steps into the imposing structure. You whispered a gentle ‘thank you’ to Sara as you passed her, and she beamed at you as you passed.
You walked through the vast corridors just a little bit away from the giggling group of girls and you took the time to admire the artwork hung up on the golden walls. Portraits of Kings and their Queens long past, portraits of the different Realms in varying seasons and times. How could the girls just walk past all these small insights into Asgard’s history? You pursed your lips before beginning to follow the girls.
Instead, you bumped into a hard frame and had to stabilise yourself with the wall beside you. You looked up and glared at the man standing there. He had dark hair that curled slightly past his shoulders, his stance was regal and oddly familiar, and those haunting emerald eyes that locked onto yours unsettled your very soul. The scowl on his face made you freeze and feel so small under his gaze, and you gulped before bowing your head, “I apologise, sir.”
“Hm,” the man replied, uninterested in your apology and the way you had bowed, as if he was a lord and not who he truly was, “I should think so. Be careful where you are walking, maid.”
You nodded feebly before whispering another apology and scurrying off to meet the other girls in front of the golden doors leading to the throne room. Cleo looked at you questioningly before she slipped her hand into yours and squeezed gently, “I am so nervous about this.”
With a small smile, you whispered weakly, “me too,”
Minutes later, the doors opened, and the girls were instantly chattering and cooing at the amazing spectacle that was the Asgardian throne room. There were countless pillars around the room and the mural on the ceiling held the group's attention for a long while as they admired the intricacies in the expressions of the people involved in the mural. Even the frost giants were adapted perfectly into the tiles of the mural.
Once your interest wavered from the mural, the group continued ahead until you all were at the bottom of the stairs leading to Odin’s throne.
There he was. King Odin. Protector of the Nine Realms. Allfather. All powerful man. Unkillable. Empathetic. Godly. All the things you had been taught about Odin came to the forefront of your mind as you gazed up at the man, but you found that you held no admiration for the king nor his power. A man as powerful as he held many secrets, secrets you were curious to find out.
“Welcome,” the King began, silencing the underlying chatter from a group of girls to your right. The man stood, his hand clasping the legendary Gungnir in his palm, “you all are aware of why you are here. You are here to participate in The Selection. You are here to win your Prince’s heart and become Princess of Asgard. All your progress shall be filmed apart from your time in your chambers. We understand that you all are away from home for the first time presumably, we shall offer you a chance to write home later in the week once you are settled. We hope that you find that sufficient. Now, Queen Frigga shall say her piece.”
It was only then that you realised a woman had stepped into sight behind the throne. Her golden hair was pulled up into a half-up-half-down style with a golden pin holding it in place. Her dress was blue and adorned with beautiful sapphires, emeralds and rubies, all dedicated to her family. You admired how she dressed, honouring her family in her clothing, her loyalty to Odin shown through the ruby ring on her finger. Her expression was serene but also excited, eager to meet the candidates for being her daughter-in-law.
“Welcome, all of you,” the woman began with a kind smile on her face and you smiled as the warmth of her sincere welcome seeped into your body, easing your anxiety, “we are most excited for The Selection to fully take off with you lovely ladies. Loki has been quite eager to find his true one and we know that you have waited a long time to have an opportunity thus. Please do enjoy the palace, it is quite early so we will have you escorted to your rooms. However, there is someone you must meet. Ladies, meet Prince Loki Odinson.”
A side door opened, and a man walked into eyesight and your heart stopped. It was the man you had bumped into in the corridor. Gods, you thought in horror, slinking behind Cleo partly to hide yourself from the Prince, I bumped into Prince Loki! I have certainly failed before I have begun!
The Prince looked over the crowd of giggling, fake girls before his eyes landed on the girl partly hidden behind another girl. Interesting, Loki thought, smirking inwardly, so she wasn’t a maid, but a suitor.
You tensed as the intimidating emerald eyes of the Prince landed on you and your heart froze in fear. However, his eyes moved on seconds after, as if he hadn’t even registered your presence. You released a slight sigh of relief before squeezing Cleo’s hand when she looked at you in confusion and you whispered, “I’m okay. Just nervous.”
“Welcome,” Loki spoke up, his voice full of authority and the tone dark and seductive as his eyes scanned over the crowd of girls, “I am, of course, your target. Not a good way of phrasing it, true, but that is reality. I am Loki. You will spend however long is needed in the palace and I shall strive to get to know all twelve of you. Your fate is, inevitably, in my hands. Good luck, ladies.”
He looked as if he were going to continue speaking but changed his mind and stepped backwards, gesturing for the guards to step forward and guide you out of the throne room. You turned your head to look at him and your eyes locked instantly. His eyes were so intense, and you registered the reluctance, but you didn’t have time to figure out why he felt that way before you were guided out of the throne room and up to your personal chambers.
Once you were inside the spacious room big enough to compete with your house and the neighbours to both sides, you felt as if you could finally breathe again, and you dropped down the door after gently shutting it.
“Miss Y/N?” a voice sounded from further into the room and you flinched, lifting yourself from the door before walking into the larger part of the room. In there, you saw two lovely maids waiting patiently for you, hands behind their backs and gentle smiles on their faces. “Good morning, Miss Y/N,” one of them began, dropping into a curtsy, “we are here to serve you through your time in The Selection.”
You blushed and smiled sheepishly before looking at both of them. “I don’t suppose I can know your names, then?” you asked shyly, watching shocked expressions flash across their faces, “what’s the matter?”
“Nothing, my lady,” the second responded quickly, shaking her hands, “it’s just that two years ago, the Selected ladies didn’t really care for the maid’s names. Apart from Princess Elysia.”
Your cheeks heated up and you quickly took a step backwards, “I just have manners, that is all. Now, please, tell me your names.”
“I am Charlotte,” the first spoke with a gentle smile.
“I am Madysin,” the second responded with a mirrored smile.
You grinned and nodded to them. “Obviously you know my name,” you joked, watching them chitter at your joke before nodding, “well, I don’t suppose I could have a bath?”
“Of course, my lady, it is already running for you,” Madysin responded with a smile, gesturing to a golden door that was slightly ajar and heat was escaping through the gap, “would you like us to assist you?”
“Oh!” you exclaimed with a blush, “no, thank you. I can do it myself. You both are dismissed, go enjoy yourselves.”
The girls looked at each other before gently shrugging and leaving you in peace in your spacious room.
You allowed yourself to spin slowly on the balls of your feet, taking in the unbelievable sight around you of such a spacious bedroom. Milly and Donna would love it here, they would definitely fight for the bed! This was all too much for one day so you slipped into the bathroom, hoping that it would be at least as small as the one at home. Nope, the bathroom was the size of half the size of your bedroom, meaning it was still plenty spacious. With a groan, you unbuttoned your dress and allowed it to drop to the floor along with your underwear before you slipped into the bath.
You thought about how life had changed for you in the past 48 hours. Just two days ago, you had been excited to watch The Selection with your family, away from the actual reality of the game in Asgard. However, as the draw was yesterday, you still remembered how anxious you had felt about the potential of being Selected and the horror you felt when you were. Then there was today. Ugh, you thought bitterly, today.
Sinking beneath the water, you internally groaned and wished you would drown. Day one? Done. How long to go? Norns only knew.
Across the palace, a certain dark prince stood on his balcony overlooking the city with a glass of wine in his hand as he thought of his fate in this game. Downing the wine in one, the prince walked back into his quarters and the doors to the balcony shut swiftly behind him. Tomorrow is hours away.

Inner Demon
Crack-ish fic inspired by this post. (Or: the one where the human exchange student gets possessed by a lesser demon.)
Content warnings: mild body horror
It’s quiet... Lucifer realizes one morning. Too quiet.
Normally his days would be interspersed with episodes of wrangling his brothers and dealing with whatever mess they’ve caused with or without your help, but it seems as though everyone has been on their best behavior lately.
In fact, if Lucifer had to narrow it down, the most notable difference would be that you’ve stopped chatting everyone’s ears off about whatever you’re currently hyperfixating on. Despite the bumpy adjustment period when you had first started living at the House of Lamentation, your talkative and easily excitable nature eventually grew on them. Levi and Satan especially, are always more than happy to chat with you late into the night now.
While Lucifer would normally capitalize on this opportunity to savor the fragile, likely short-lived peace, his big brotherly instincts are screaming that something’s amiss. His sanity is at stake, but your well-being takes precedence.
“How have you been?” He asks at the next family dinner, watching your body language carefully.
You jump slightly at his question, and the room falls silent as the other brothers turn their attention to you. “I’m good, thanks for asking Lo— Lucifer.”
The first-born narrows his eyes. You’re slightly pale and sweaty, trembling almost imperceptibly in your seat. Perhaps you’re ill and trying to hide your symptoms. “You’ve hardly eaten anything. Are you not feeling well?”
“I feel finE!” Biting back a shout through gritted teeth, you grab the dinner fork and violently stab at your untouched salad.
“Geez human, what’d a bunch of leaves ever do to —”
Mammon’s offhand comment is cut off by a hissed “shut up”, causing raised eyebrows and slack jaws all around.
If the fact that you just breached basic fine dining etiquette isn’t ringing any alarm bells — Lucifer should know, he’d drilled it into you himself in preparation for a formal gathering several weeks back; the habits stuck, often earning you light teasing from his brothers when they observe your precise use of the salad fork for appetizers — your cruel words towards your first man are.
“Hey normie, you don’t look so good.”
“Levi’s right, honey. Maybe you should go lie down for a bit and we can —”
“I said shUT UP!”
Your chair flies backwards with a high-pitched screech as you stand up abruptly, clutching your head and pulling at your hair. As you stumble backwards, muttering unintelligibly under your breath, faint wisps of black smoke begin emanating from your skin.
Satan recognizes the signs in a heartbeat. “Possession,” he breathes in horror, unable to believe that some lowlife is currently inhabiting your precious body. “Everyone, we need to —”
“SHUT UP SHUT UP SHUT UP JUST STOP TALKING —”
Dark liquid drips from your eyes like tears, the same viscous substance gathering at your lips as your body doubles over and heaves with the effort of expelling the intruder. Beel steps in front of his frozen twin while Lucifer and Satan prep exorcism spells, ready to force the bastard out of you.
With one final, loud retch, you fall to your hands and knees. The puddle of tar on the floor coalesces into a solid mass that quickly darts towards the first- and fourth-born.
“Lord Lucifer, Lord Satan, please save me!” The lesser demon begs feebly at their feet, scrambling to put as much distance between you and himself as possible. “Have mercy, I’ll do anything! Just make the human SHUT UP —”
Lucifer grants his wish by letting Satan go wild. It’s technically mercy; he would have done much worse to that scumbag. Instead, he joins his remaining brothers in fussing over you.
Beel props you up while Belphie rubs your back soothingly. “How in the nine circles did you manage to get him out yourself?!” Mammon demands to know.
“I may have gotten possessed by a demon, but they also got possessed by me,” you rasp with a crooked grin. “Say, did I ever tell you guys about this song we used to sing back in school...”

It had only been a week. A week filled with phone calls and text messages and a whole bunch of facetime—but, fuck, it had been a week.
Did Ian really have to go on and visit Fiona alone with Lip? Was it really that necessary for him to travel all the way to the alligator land just so they could help Fiona switch apartments? Mickey didn't see the point of the long-ass trip to Florida just so Ian could complain about how humid it was and how it was a blessing he didn't share a room with Lip anymore.
Mickey missed him. He missed him a lot more than he thought he would, and he really should've considered the fact that he and Ian spent most of their time together. They may have been apart before for long periods of time, but it was hard to tear them away from each other nowadays.
So maybe it wasn't that much of a surprise he'd had a hard time adjusting to the empty space of their apartment and the coldness of their bed. The lack of dad jokes during their long rides at work and the unmistakable scent of Ian that had been slowly fading and was almost gone now.
That was Mickey's excuse for not doing laundry. He didn't wanna lose Ian's smell from their home. The sappy excuse would probably work with Ian, he thought.
And even if it didn't, Mickey could distract him from his annoyance in other ways.
Airports sucked.
Being in an airport, waiting on Ian and Lip with their family of twenty thousand—or six, whatever—sucked even more.
But the plane had already landed and it would be just another couple minutes before Mickey saw his husband for the first time in a week. Before he wrapped his arms around him in a bone-crushing hug. He didn't even give a shit if anybody saw him and thought how big of a fag he was.
Husband. That was the only thing on his mind currently.
"They should be here already," Tami said, bouncing Fred up on her hip.
Debbie shrugged from beside Mickey, one hand tightly holding onto the redheaded girl between them. She was fisting the fabric of Mickey's jacket, and it made Mickey smile. It eased the anticipation a little.
Who was he kidding? There were swarms of bees in his stomach, poking and stinging. He felt slightly nauseous.
"I think I see Lip!" It was Liam who exclaimed.
Mickey didn't see Lip.
But he did see the redhead trailing right behind him, a suitcase in his right hand, recently bought for the trip. His hair was ruffled, and his eyes were sleepy, the jet lag probably hitting him in full swing.
Still, the green orbs Mickey missed so much lit up the moment he noticed Mickey, the corners of his mouth twisting up into a wide smile.
Mickey wasn't any better. He could feel the grin stretching across his face involuntary, yet he did nothing to hide it. Nothing to stop it from spreading. He didn't care to hide the excitement he was feeling upon seeing Ian for the first time in a week.
A week.
His legs moved on their own accord, and in what felt like no time at all, he was engulfed into a hug, Ian's long arms circling him—it was familiar; comfortable, and warm.
"Fucking finally," Ian choked out against Mickey's hair, his lips pressed to the top of his head, cradling his body gently. "I missed you so much."
Mickey tilted his chin up and their lips connected in a brief kiss. Just a peck that turned into a couple more, all loud on the pullback, their limbs still wrapped up in each other.
"Missed you more."
They stared into each other's eyes longingly for a couple of moments—it was probably too soft and sappy for them, but who gave a shit? They hadn't seen each other in a week.
What interrupted them eventually were a few short coughs, as if somebody was clearing their throat.
Mickey glared at Lip, practically forcing himself to tear his eyes away from the man he was holding.
"We done with the reunion or you guys wanna continue making out in the middle of the airport...?"
Ian was the one who flipped him off, finally disentangling himself from Mickey so he could greet his siblings properly and pick Franny up into a long hug. It made Mickey frown, the loss of contact. He forced himself to endure it, though—half an hour of a ride longer and they'd be home alone, free to do whatever the fuck.
Still, as soon as they were done with the obligated reunions and the questions about Florida and Fiona, Ian found himself next to Mickey again, gripping Mickey's palm and intertwining the fingers with his own.
Who gave a shit if anybody was looking? Who gave a shit if Lip was rolling his eyes at the obvious display of affection or if Carl was making obnoxious kissy faces at them as if they haven't been married for a while now—Mickey saw none of that shit.
All Mickey saw was Ian.

Summary: You’re dating your ex-fiancee Gojo again, but your relationship hits a crucial crossroad. Do you stay or do you go?
Gojo Satoru x reader
Multi-fandom Masterlist || HQ Masterlist || Ao3 version
Genre: fluff, angst, exes to friends to lovers
“You’re hiding something from me.” Gojo Satoru confronts you as you step onto the hallway for spare rooms in Jujutsu Tech.
He is in your way. You try not to get irritated.
“No, I’m not.” you snap. It’s been a long day. You don’t need this. You push him aside and keep walking. Gojo is irritably good at sniffing things out.
He swiftly appears before you again and blocks your way, “What is it?”
“I missed my period.” You stop and cross your arms, “If you really wanna know.”
“Oh. He mumbles softly. He looks incredulous, as if he is yet to be sure of what he just heard. You walk past him.
“Oh.” he repeats again, eyes widening as the weight of your words dawn. He turns to you.
You leave him standing there, arrested and head to your room. You’re too tired for this.
Gojo watches you enter your room and lie down. He tries to offer you something to eat since you look so pallid under the fluorescent light of the room.
“I’m not hungry. Just sleepy.” you yawn, waving dismissively.
Gojo feels obligated to stay. He looks at you quietly from the door, unable to leave.
“This really isn’t the most opportune of times,” he breathes in, “but are you seeing anyone else?”
“No.” you murmur, “I don’t have the time.”
He walks in to sit beside you, making sure to close the door behind him. You roll over to the other side of the bed away from his gaze.
Gojo knows he is not an easy person to be with. He’s your ex-fiancée for one thing, and he struggles with monogamy for another.
Being able to be intimate with you again was a chance only the gods could’ve intervened. And now that chance is starting to fade. He lies down beside you, his eyes towards the ceiling. At the start of your relationship, it was him who was hesitant. Things are reversed tonight.
“I don’t want to talk. Go away.” you cut in before he says anything, “I’m seeing a doctor soon to make sure.”
He nods understandingly and quietly, but slowly pads out of the room. The weight of the floor lightly creaks under his footsteps. The silence between the two of you dominates the hall.
————————————————————————————
There was a time when you were younger that you would visit Gojo in his family home. After dinner, you’d sneak outside to his family garden to capture fireflies in paper lanterns.
That was a much different time of course. Since then, you’ve been arranged to be married, broken up and begun precariously seeing each other again after ten years.
“Why are you wading around in the darkness?” he asks, sitting on a pile of rocks, his hands inside his pockets.
Neither of you are really kids anymore, but your fondness for fireflies remains. On your occasional stays in Jujutsu Tech for your sorcery job, you like to spend your down time in the gardens at night.
“I need a break from people.” you comment succinctly.
You’re both quiet from a moment. Gojo becomes too impatient for you to start the conversation.
“So what did the doctor say?” Curiosity overcame him.
You lower your lantern by your side, making sure to face away from him as you reply, “She tried to ask if I was married and if my family knew.”
You turn around quickly, waving your hands before he can react, “You don’t need to worry. I’m considering not keeping it...it’s too much time and work…and it made me think about us. I think we should just end things…whatever this is.”
Gojo knew that this day would come. Deep down, he already prepared himself for when your relationship would end. Yet instead of acceptance, indignance rises in his chest.
“How could you let me go so easily? How are you done with us?” he finds himself saying.
He knew his disinterest in monogamy would come to bite him back someday, but he hadn’t imagined himself in a deeply romantic and emotional relationship with you when it happened.
You shake your head. The sounds of crickets and cicadas keep the silences from being too empty.
“Every year I used to wait to see if this was the year we reconciled. If this was the year we would fix things, not necessarily be lovers, but to just be back in each other's lives.” You look to the stars, sitting in a large rock beside him, “I waited maybe 11 years to see it happen even if I didn’t know if it would come at all. And I can wait another lifetime to try again. But I think in this life, our time has to end. This isn’t going to work out, Satoru.”
Gojo feels as if his lungs will collapse. It hurts him even more to know that you do love him but you’d rather he be out of your life.
“Why would you wait another lifetime for me when I’m here now?” he murmurs.
“I can’t have you to myself.” you say simply, “I can’t take this anymore. Even if I’m not pregnant, I want to be the only one in your life.”
“You are the most important person in my life.” he grabs your hand to reassure you. You don’t resist.
You face him, tears running down your eyes, “Then I don’t understand how you can say that and still need someone else.”
Gojo feels his chest crushed with heaviness. The weight spreads to his back, his arms and neck. For the first time in years, he feels helpless.
“We knew this was coming.” you mutter, pulling your hand away to make your exit out of the garden.
Gojo does not chase after you. He notices his bandages are wet.
————————————————————————
Gojo walks around in a daze for the next few days. People always say that he is a man who has everything, but for now he is the man with only questions without answers.
How can he make you stay?
“Gojo,” Utahime nudge, “GOJO!”
She sharply jabs a finger by his side to bring him back to reality. He jerks back, accidentally hitting the wooden walls of the hallway with a resounding thud.
“Are you even listening to me?” she hisses. He hasn’t been paying attention at the school meeting and her temper is rising. How can he go around doing the bare minimum and still be so praised. She was ready to throw a fit.
“Well…we’re kind of expecting…but we might not keep the baby…and ahh…” he uses his full concentration to string together his thoughts.
Utahime stops in her tracks and rubs her temples. Every other conversation she has with him always sends her reeling.
She crosses her arms together, “Let me guess, one of you wants to keep the kid and the other doesn’t?”
“OMIGOSH YES!” Gojo raises his hands as if someone finally gets him, “How did you know?!”
Utahime looks slightly alarmed at his expression. Protective of your privacy, she looks left and right to see if anybody is nearby. She shrugs.
Gojo continues, “These past few days have made me realize how badly I want a family with them. I really want this! Except it made them realize they want a family with someone else…and I’m not sure there’s anything I can do to make them feel the same way.”
His voice softens towards the end of his sentence as he slowly sinks back into his thoughts.
Utahime takes a moment before dispensing her bit of wisdom.
“Having a child with someone is an incredibly huge sacrifice. If you really want this…then you have to make a sacrifice equal in weight. Whatever that will be…” she sighs, adjusting her kimono. “And I have a feeling you haven’t properly explained to her what an open relationship is.”
She peers at him from the side of her eye. His guilty expression confirms her suspicions.
Every now and then, Utahime feels envious of his power. However, today is not one of those days. He has some hard choices to face she would not want to deal with.
—————————————————————— “Hey!”
A week after your last conversation, Gojo spots you in the school and immediately rushes towards you.
In panic, you shove yourself into an empty meeting room and try to shut the door. He jams his foot between the ledge and determinedly peers you from the door crack.
“Oh no, you are not shutting me out. We are going to talk like proper adults.” he insists.
Your instincts kick in. You kick his feet and push him back. You bolt the door shut and slump down behind it. You’re safe for now.
“You can’t keep running away.” he breathes out from the other side, “We need to talk.”
“There’s nothing to talk about,” you quickly rebut, “Gojo, I have no family. There’s no one to help me. I’m going to be alone if this kid comes out of me.”
Your voice fades hoarsely as you utter the last few words.
“You have me.” his soothes in a contemplative voice.
You want to laugh. This relationship was doomed from the start. You were such a masochist for even trying. You must have been consumed with your attraction to him.
Gojo was no different though— he couldn’t help himself. You both want each other too much and now you both were paying the price.
You shake your head, “You’ll just leave me when things get tough. I’m tired of cleaning after your mess. Why can’t you just let me have my way?”
Gojo has no time to be taken aback.
“Because I don’t want a family with anyone else. I’m desperate to make this work with you.” he pleads, “ Don’t push me away. I have my own doubts about myself, and I understand where you’re coming from but I wish you believed in me more.”
You pretend not to hear him.
“I’ll be here for you and our baby, even if it's not always romantic.” he adds, his voice pleading, “I know you’re terrified that I’ll just leave you but…”
You interrupt him by opening the door. As if on instinct he hides his vulnerability from you. His posture leans back coolly, waiting on your next move.
“Gojo, I’m just frustrated to always be at the mercy of your choices. Don’t you understand?”
His lips part slowly, “If you’re not ready for a family, it’s fine. But don't you want to make this last longer?”
——————————————————
“Oh, Satoru, what have we done?” you quietly murmur, staring at the ceiling of his room.
It’s your first night in his faculty dormitory. You’ve never really been before. His room is too close to the principal’s for a casual date night visit.
Gojo’s long switched off the lights but neither of you can sleep.
“What do you mean? The baby or the wedding?” he chuckles.
You shrug, “Both?”
You shift around the sheets, the linen ruffling under your movement.
He crosses his arms and turns to you, “Well, we’ve established that the first one was an accident. The wedding—well—it’s mostly so you and the baby will be under the protection of the Gojo clan.”
Gojo promised to close his open relationship status until your kid is one and you take his word for it. It is perplexing that the wedding was his idea too. However there was something about his sincerity that you could not refuse
“How long till we regret all this?” you half-murmur, half-sigh.
“Honestly, probably every time we hit a rough patch. But we’re not meant to always be happy anyways.” he sighs lying on his arm. It’s an honest enough answer.
You sit up and put your arms around your waist, “Such optimism you have there. So tell me, oh all powerful Satoru, why are we here then?”
“For me, it's to be able to find and meet you.” he says simply.
He catches you off guard with the tenderness of his words. You reach out to touch the side of his face and gently rub your thumb on his cheek. He presses your hand on his cheek.
“If things fell apart again and you had to wait another ten years for us to fix it, would you?”
He asks so quietly you almost don’t hear him.
Your face flushes under the cover of darkness.
“…Yes, I love you too much. This was never going to be just an arranged marriage for me even when we were younger…then again, I think you already know that.” you admit in a shaky whisper.
Now that you've married him, you've given yourself permission acknowledge your true feelings to yourself. You have always been in love with him. And being apart did not changed that.
Propping himself up by the elbow, you realize his face is so close to yours. You can almost feel the wisps of his long lashes on your cheek.
“I know this isn’t your ideal wedding, but this is more than just a shotgun marriage for me too. You are my fated. And you are the only being I want to go through this with—sorcerer, curse or otherwise.”
You try not to giggle at the mention of curses.
“Through this life and the next?” you said with a small smile.
“Through this life and the next.” he assures firmly, squeezing your hand.
You smile widely and he looks at you fondly. These are your favorite moments with him, when you’re at the brink of losing each other in your gazes.
Gojo breaks your shared reverie.
“Can you kiss me?” he grins cheekily, “As your new husband…”
You kiss his forehead without skipping a beat. He flips over, still propping himself by his stomach.
“So what shall we do on our wedding night? Try for twins?” he smirks.
You roll your eyes extra hard to make sure he sees it. Gojo only laughs.
He shuffles out of bed and tosses you your coat, “Well if you really can’t sleep, we might as well go out and see the fireflies. They look bright tonight.”
You put on your coat and smile.
Another lifetime is too far away.

─
you roamed the halls of your new school, searching for your locker. 1108 was the number you were looking for, and when you found it, you let out a relieved sigh. you looked at the paper in your hand at the combination of 18 - 24 - 10, hanging your backpack on the hook inside.
moving halfway across the country to california wasn’t on your agenda for the year. you had to leave your friends, your house, and everything else for “your protection”, which you knew was bullshit.
being an argent, you knew moving was always something you’d have to do. when things got complicated or you and your mom became targets, your dad would pack up all of your belongings and drag all of you to somewhere far from where you were.
this time, it was beacon hills. but this time, it wasn’t just you and your parents. it was the three of you and your uncle chris, aunt victoria, and cousin allison. you were close with allison, and she offered to eat lunch with you every day until you made some friends.
you hadn’t even been at your locker for a full minute before you felt a pair of eyes on you. you looked to your right and didn’t see anyone looking at you, but when you looked to your left, you spotted a boy standing at his locker, staring right at you.
he had a buzzcut, and he was cute. he had his backpack thrown over one shoulder, and he was wearing a flannel, jeans, and a pair of converse. he looked kind.
when you noticed him, he got nervous, his body stiffening. he gave you an awkward smile before quickly closing his locker and shuffling away, meeting a friend at the end of the hall.
you chuckled to yourself and stared down at your schedule, seeing you had biology first period.
—
you sat on the bleachers during your free period, the sunlight making the cool air more bearable. the lacrosse team was doing try-outs, and the boy from earlier was there, although he was on the bench.
you were sat next to allison and her new friend lydia, who made it very clear that she was dating the team captain, jackson.
“who is that?” allison asked, looking at the goalie.
“him? i’m not sure who he is. why?”
as if he could hear them, he looked your direction.
“he’s in my english class.”
ignoring their conversation, your eyes shifted back over to the one with the buzzcut. you’d heard the coach call him ‘stilinski’, but you still weren’t sure of his first name. he groaned as his friend hit the ground after being struck in the face with a ball.
as he began catching the balls, cheers of ‘yeah!’ and ‘woo-hoo!’ left stilinski’s mouth, and he jumped to his feet when he caught jackson’s shot.
he looked around and yelled loudly, “that’s my friend!”
you laughed as everyone cheered, meeting his eye contact.
—
you stood outside the boys’ locker room, waiting for the kid who you knew only by ‘stilinski’. it took a few minutes, but eventually he stepped out, freezing in place when he saw you.
“oh, hey,” he said nervously.
“hey.” you smiled softly and gripped the straps of your backpack. “your friend did good out there.”
he nodded. “yeah, i think even he was surprised.”
a couple of seconds of silence went by before you spoke again. “y/n.”
“stiles.”
“can i ask why you were staring at me earlier?”
his eyebrows raised and his mouth opened as he tried to think of something to say. “uh... i... i didn’t recognize you, i was trying to figure out if you were new.”
“yeah, i am. i just moved here.”
“oh, where from?”
“south dakota. my dad packed us up and moved us here last night.”
“i could give you a tour of the school. i mean, if you want to.”
you broke the eye contact and chuckled to yourself. “i think i’m okay. thanks though.” the bell rang and you looked at the stairs to your right. “i should get going. i’ll see you around, stiles.”
as you walked off, he shouted after you, “are you sure you don’t want that tour?”
“i’m sure,” you responded, not looking back so you could conceal your smile.
—
you stepped into your last class, where you immediately spotted stiles. he was scrambling to finish his homework, an extra pencil stuck out both sides of his mouth.
you chuckled to yourself and walked over, sliding into the seat right next to him.
“oh, hey,” he said, pulling the pencil out of his mouth.
“did you forget to do the homework?”
he nodded. “i got busy last night.”
you reached over and grabbed his paper, which was full of math problems, all of his answers wrong.
“what’s your grade in here?”
“bad,” he stated simply, which made you laugh.
“i can tell. all your answers are wrong.”
he groaned. “do you know how to do them?”
“yeah, i got an a in this class last year. i have to repeat it because i’m new.”
he lit up, adjusting his posture. “well, maybe you could... tutor me.”
you looked at him. “tutor you?”
“mhm.”
“now why would i do that?” you asked sarcastically.
“i don’t really want to repeat this class.”
you nodded. “alright. we can study in the library after school.”
his eyes went wide, almost as if he didn’t expect you to say yes. “wait, seriously? you’ll help me?”
“why not?”
—
“and just multiply the x by two and you’re done.”
he wrote down the answer, still visibly confused. “um... okay.”
“you still don’t understand, do you?” he reluctantly shook his head. “that’s okay. it’s the beginning of the year, i think you’ll be fine.”
he leaned back in his chair and checked the time on his phone. that was when both of you realized it had gotten dark outside.
“shit,” you said to yourself, pulling your phone out of your pocket to see texts from both of your parents asking where you were. “i have to go home.”
you gathered your books in a hurry and shoved them into your backpack, stiles doing the same. he followed you back out into the hallway, walking quickly beside you.
“are your parents overprotective?” he asked, making conversation.
“god, you have no idea.” when you got out to the parking lot, he stopped you. “i really need to get home.”
“i just... i liked hanging out with you. even if we were doing math.”
you smiled. “i liked hanging out with you, too.”
just then, your phone rang again. you looked at the screen to see ‘dad’ displayed across the top.
“hello?” you asked, lifting the phone to your ear.
“where the hell are you? i called and texted you a thousand times.”
“i’m sorry, i was tutoring a friend. i’m on my way home.”
“we’ll talk more when you get here.”
the line clicked, making you roll your eyes.
“i have to go. i’m sorry. i’ll see you tomorrow?”
you pushed yourself on your toes and gave him a kiss on the cheek, making him go red.
“uh, yeah, tomorrow. yeah. tuesday. school.”
you laughed at his awkwardness. “bye, stiles.”
he gave you a goofy smirk and waved.
you may have just spent hours with him, but you planned on hanging out even more in the weeks to follow.

Heyy!!
I dont think there's such think as semen donors in aot cannon?
BUT WHAT IF Captain Levi agrees to be the donor to squad leader (or just cadet) reader in a platonic relationship/eventual romance?
Just cute ackerbabies!
Lmao you’re probably right, no semen donors in canonverse. But I honestly love this idea so much, I feel like it would be hard for Levi to make that romantic connection so I could see him making that choice, and maybe it developing into something more!
Summary: Levi can’t wait any longer to start a family, and you are willing to take that step with him.
Word Count: 1.7K
__
You choked on the small sip of tea that you had taken. Catching the small drops of liquid that had escaped your lips.
“Come again now?” You managed to form words after a moment, Levi seemed uninterested as always, those charcoal grey eyes dull and apathetic.
“You heard me just fine, you know that I hate repeating myself.” He scoffed as he shifted so that his leg was crossed over his opposite knee,
“Yes I heard you but....marriage?” You were shocked to say the least. Levi had never shown any prior interest in any long term relationship with anyone, although the two of you had hooked up a handful of times.
“I don’t see why not. We already share a room, not to mention that we-”
“Okay I get it, just...it’s a big commitment and I’m not sure that I’m-”
“Oh please, what else do we have to look forward to anymore? No more fighting, no more political issues to deal with might as well settle down and...” He trailed off, his gaze cast downwards into his cup of tea, which was probably cold by now. You sighed deeply, placing your cup down gently and leaning back into the sofa that the two of you were seated on. His arm was slung casually across the back of the sofa, his finger tips ghosting over your shoulder.
“I know but Levi...marriage?” you were a bit disappointed. He had said it so casually, as if he was asking you if you wanted to run to the market to grab apples.
“If you don’t want to then just say no.” He snapped, clearly getting frustrated, he rose to his feet and began to march towards his desk. You chased after him, catching his wrist. You knew it was difficult for him to express himself, to put things lightly or being considerate to your feelings.
“It’s not that...I’m just a little caught off guard.” You admitted as you held his wrist gently. He let out a breath that he had seemed to have been holding in, he turned and laced his fingers through yours, his other hand diving into his pant pocket. You waited patiently for him to say something, but he only pulled out a small black box. Your heart skipped a beat, this was more how you had pictured being proposed to. He fell onto his knee and opened the box slowly, revealing a modest silver ring with a small diamond embedded in the ring.
“Oh Levi...” Your fingers were still laced with his as he knelt down, you squeezed his hand affectionately.
“I already bought the damn ring, just say yes.” He grunted, averting his gaze as his thumb glided over your knuckle.
“You have a point there.” You chuckled as you gave him a small nod, which was enough of a yes for him.
__
You were married by the end of the month, a simple court house wedding with Armin and Mikasa as your witnesses. Afterwards you had gone home and eaten dinner as usual. Just another week, except now the sex that you and Levi occasionally had, became a hell of a lot more regular. You had no complaints, or at least that was until you were hunched over the kitchen sink puking your guts out. You had missed your period as well, and it didn’t take a genius to know what that meant. You decided to wait until you were certain to tell anyone this however, seeing how difficult pregnancy could be, and the unlikeliness of carrying to full term seemed high.
So you made sure to go to the doctor twice before telling Levi that you were pregnant. He’d had a very similar reaction that you’d had when he had asked to marry you.
He choked on his tea, his hand flying to his chin to catch the liquid.
“Pregnant?” He repeated, and you nodded, leaning against the table where he was sitting.
“H-How long until...”
“Give or take seven months.” You shrugged, trying to put on a brave face, after seeing how frazzled he was you wanted to make this as casual as the rest of your relationship.
“So...we should probably start cleaning out that spare room and-” You cut him off by kneeling down and placing a chaste kiss to his lips.
“We’ve got plenty of time for that, for now let’s just...enjoy not being responsible for a helpless shitty baby.” You said softly as you slowly sank onto his lap. He hummed his approval, but still seemed rightfully on edge.
“We can start cleaning the room in few weeks, there’s no rush.” You assured him as you scattered kisses across his sour face.
“I’ll start tomorrow.” Levi hummed as he tilted his head to the side.
__
Turned out that you were both in way over your head. Around 12 weeks into your pregnancy Hange was pressing her stethoscope to your rapidly swelling belly when she froze. Levi tensed when he noticed this, and you frowned.
“What is it?” Levi asked as he gripped the back of the exam table.
“Nothing’s wrong...just-”
“Doesn’t seem like nothing.” Levi scowled as he watched Hange continue to feel around your stomach.
“That’s cause it isn’t nothing, I’m hearing two heart beats.” Hange told you as she stood to her full height.
“Two heart beats?” You felt feint at the news, you had known that twins ran in your family but you had never expected to have them yourself.
“Yes, it appears that you are having twins” Hange said with a wide smile as she folded up the stethoscope. Your vision blurred, the worry that you had been experiencing prior to the appointment had doubled along with the number of children you were having.
“No shit.” Levi replied breathily as he held your shoulder firmly.
“If I were you guys I’d go clean out that room now.” Hange advised as she cleaned up the space that you had been using as a makeshift exam room in her office.
“I’ll get right on that.” Levi said, shooting you a concerned look as he helped you up onto your feet.
__
The twins were born premature, the labor itself wasn’t nearly as bad as you had expected. But you realized that it wasn’t that bad because of how small they were. The only reason that they both survived was thanks to the Marleyan medical equipment that had been shipped over courtesy of Zeke and Yelena. You and Levi spent countless hours in the hospital as you awaited for the twins to be discharged. In that window of time you decided on names, it was difficult but you decided on Harrison and Harper. You weren’t surprised to find that they both took after their father, dark bluish grey eyes with a full head of black hair. The one thing they seemed to have gotten from you was your facial structure and your complexion.
It was a massive relief to bring them home, now instead of staying up until the wee hours in the hospital you could do it in the comfort of your own home.
One particular evening you were walking laps with Harrison, gently patting his back as you bounced off of your heels as he cried. On your third lap around the entire cottage, you peeked into the nursery to see Levi reclined on the rocker with Harper fast asleep. His eyes were closed, his naked chest rising and falling evenly as he slept. You envied him as you rubbed circles on Harrison’s back once more. His cries slowly died out and you managed to drag yourself to your bed and place Harrison down gently. Using the extra pillows, you managed to make a small barrier between him and yourself as well as the edge of the bed. It wasn’t often that you got to do this, seeing as you usually slept with Levi. But Harrison seemed content with laying in his dad’s spot for the night. His big blue eyes were watching your hair sway over his face as you adjusted the pillows. He cooed and babbled for a few minutes before falling silent, his tiny breaths putting you at ease.
It couldn’t have been but an hour later when the sound of Harper crying woke you once more. Levi was pacing around the same way that you had been earlier before he finally managed to put her at ease. He returned to your room to see you sitting up, Harrison fast asleep at your side.
“Care to join us?” You asked, voice gruff with sleep, or rather the lack there of.
“Would I ever.” Levi groaned as he placed Harper in the pillow barrier with Harrison who was still fast asleep. He managed to squeeze onto the bed, laying on his side like you were as the two of you watched Harper sooth herself into sleep. His gaze left the small baby in favor of studying your features.
“What would you have done if I had never asked you to marry me?” The question caught you off guard, your fingers were tracing the soft features of your babies. You hummed in thought but the answer was already on the tip of your tongue.
“I’d have asked you to marry me.” You said with a wry smile and Levi rolled his eyes at your cheesy reply.
“That’s not what I meant...well not really.” Levi grumbled, you paused again in thought. What would you have done? Certainly no more military work, that chapter was over for you.
“Maybe I’d open a bakery. My grandmother left me all of her recipes. What would you do?” You asked, finger running along the soft dark locks of hair that were growing from Harrison’s head.
“I’d open a tea shop.” Levi answered quickly, his own gaze back on the babies, his hand resting on Harper’s stomach, rising and falling with her breathing.
“Why don’t we just say fuck it and do it?” You asked, not sure if you were serious or if it was the lack of sleep talking.
“There was that space for lease last time we went into town...” Levi offered thoughtfully.
“Yeah, we could fix it up and open a cafe.” You said excitedly as you leaned over the sleeping babies in hopes of coaxing a kiss from Levi. He nodded in agreement before leaning over and planting a kiss to your lips.
“We’ll talk about it in the morning. Go to sleep.” Levi sighed as he stretched out on his side, and closing his eyes. You smiled and mirrored him, your hand resting on Harrison’s stomach now as well, your fingertips brushing his.
You knew that you’d made the right choice. Marrying Levi was the best decision that you’d made in a long time. It may not look like the typical love story, but you knew that it was real, realer than most relationships. And you wouldn’t want to have it with anyone else.

Love your dad! Series! Can I please have some good dad Satan? Angst is okay as long as Satan is ultimately good.
Engulfed (Dad!Satan x F!Reader)
A/N : Another Brothertiger song as the title... Whoo! yes it's kind of like a plug because his songs are really good Word Count : 2.2K TW: pregnancy ; maternity ; children ; babies ; child birth;
Children were never a topic of interest for him. They were loud, dirty, and obnoxious. They would ruin his books and he would never have time to read them, he would never have time for you. Why anyone would ever want a child was beyond him, but it was never a topic that he felt he had to bring up. What were the chances that a child would actually be created between the two of you? It was biologically impossible, you weren’t even the same species, it shouldn’t have even been a concern, and it wasn’t, it truly wasn’t… until now.
Things seemed the same… but they weren’t. There were slight differences that an average human wouldn’t have picked up on, but he could see it, he could sense it, he could feel it. “When was the last time you got your… period?” He asked, peaking over the top of his book to look at you, curled up on his bed as you scrolled through your phone. You probably didn’t even notice anything yet, maybe he was just reading into things, but there was nothing wrong with being certain. You groaned, rolling over to turn away from him. “I don’t know, Satan… I don’t want to talk… I’m bloated and I don’t feel good. I’ll probably get it soon… so leave me alone.” You grumbled, pulling the blanket up around yourself before continuing to scroll through your phone, leaving Satan confused and kind of irritated that you snapped at him like that for a simple question, but he was accrediting it to premenstrual symptoms, he was hoping that’s all it was. Days continued to pass and you had yet to get your period, and the differences that he saw in you were only growing more prominent. You were sleeping more, and you’d wake up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom and he was starting to get worried. He wasn’t even sure how long it’s been since the two of you did anything, you’ve been so moody and tired lately that he’s been mainly avoiding you so you wouldn’t snap at him, but now he needed to know. “Satan…” You said his name quietly, peaking your head out of the bedroom door as he was on his way up. Maybe you had just gotten your period and he had nothing to worry about, but he could see the wetness around your eyes, the light from inside the room glinting off the streaks that ran down your cheeks. “Something’s wrong…” You mumbled once he got close enough, grabbing his hand and pulling him into the room. “My… My boobs hurt…” He eye’d you curiously, slowly moving his gaze down to your chest before looking back at your face. “Did you… sleep on them?” Surely that would explain it, right? Or maybe you were just having chest pains and saying it was your boobs. There were a lot of reasons for you to think they hurt. You shook your head no and he sighed, walking over to you and gently cupping your cheek, hoping that you wouldn’t bite his head off when he asks this time. “When was the last time you got your period?” Your eyes dropped to look down at your feet, slightly moving away from him as you pursed your lips. “Ten…” He didn’t understand. Days? Weeks? Ten what? He kept staring at you as he waited for you to give him a timeframe that he’d actually be able to understand. “Weeks… Nine weeks… I was counting… And I… I thought I was just a little late… I didn’t realize…” You fell back on the bed, hiding your face in your hands. “Dammit…” He mumbled, running his fingers through his hair as he tried to think of what to do. It wasn’t your fault, he knew that. He couldn’t get mad at you for it, he’d have to be mad at himself too. There was still the possibility though that you were just… off. He was holding onto that, it was like the last single strand of thread that he had to cling onto. “It’s alright… We’re not sure. We’ve got to be sure… And then we can think of something, alright?” He was trying to stay hopeful, not just for you, but for himself too. It was all he could do.
Going up to the human world was last on his list of things he wanted to do, but they’d know more about the human body than any demon would, and they’d have the tools necessary to figure it out faster. He was trying to stay calm, giving you soft smiles and temple kisses as you sat in the waiting room of the OBGYN, his hand held tightly in his own as you rested your head on his shoulder, waiting for your name to be called. “You’ll come back with me… right?” You asked nervously, swallowing thickly as your eyes flickered across the other woman in the room. He nodded slowly, patting your thigh to try to calm you down. “Of course… You’ll be fine. Everything’s gonna be okay…” At least he hoped it would be. He wasn’t really sure what he would do if you were… pregnant. All he knew was that he didn’t want to be a dad, he didn’t even know how to be a dad. Your name was called and he followed you back into the room, shoving his hands in his pockets as he leaned against the wall, listening to you answer all the questions that the doctor asked you. He already knew something was off though, not by the way you looked though, it was the way he felt. As he watched the doctor poke at your stomach, he had to fight the urge to growl, the strong need to throw the doctor across the room and keep them as far away from you as possible. “So is she pregnant or not?” He asked through gritted teeth, his fists clenched tightly in his pockets, his nails digging into his palms. “Well… By what she’s told me, she could be… But she could also just be very late, which can be caused by emotional changes or environmental changes. I’d like to do a sonogram, is that alright?” The doctor looked to you, and you nodded quickly. It would be the quickest way to find out, and you’d be able to see it yourself, and so would Satan.
You sat on the bed in his room back in the Devildom, the pictures still folded in your hands as you watched him. He was leaning against the wall, deep in thought as he chewed at his thumbnail. “Please say something…” You whispered. The nervousness you felt in the waiting room was nothing compared to how you felt right now. He hadn’t spoken at all since it had been confirmed and you didn’t know what he was feeling. “I’m… I’m sorry?” You weren’t sure what for, but hearing you say it had him dropping his hand from his mouth and walking over to you. “You don’t have to… It’s not… Don’t get worked up about it, okay? I’m gonna… I’ll be right back.” He swallowed thickly, leaning down to kiss the top of your head before leaving the room. You weren’t sure where he was going or what he was doing, but you sat there and you waited. You waited for him to come back, you waited for what felt like forever. There was never a call or a text, there was nothing, and the hours passed on and on until you finally got up from the bed and went to find him. There was no sign of him around though, and it even seemed like the brothers were trying to avoid you, their eyes averting whenever you entered the room, but you weren’t looking for any of them. You were looking for Satan who was nowhere to be found. “Do you know where he is? Did he go out?” The door to Lucifer’s office was half open, his fingers drumming across his desk as he stared at nothing in particular. It was clear that he knew something, and he knew something that he didn’t want you to know, or maybe you weren’t supposed to know. “Lucifer…? Where is he?” He sighed, closing his eyes and rubbing his hands over his face as he shook his head, pushing himself away from his desk to get up, walking over to you quickly. “He said he needed to go. I sent him up, he said he’d be back soon, but I know him. He told me what’s going on…” His eyes glanced down to your stomach and then back up to your face. “He told me to look after you, which was strange. He never asks me to do anything, so he must be pretty conflicted.” You were dumbfounded, to say the least… He had left. He had just up and left. Was it too much for him to handle? Did he not take into consideration how you might feel right now? How selfish could he possibly be? He needed to go? He had left you alone when you were the most vulnerable, when you needed him the most… he had left. You didn’t even know how to react, you didn’t know what to do. You surely couldn’t do this on your own. How long was he planning on even being gone? He said he’d be right back… How soon would that be? Days passed and they soon turned to weeks, then they turned to months. Lucifer had kept his promise of looking after you even though you knew he didn’t really want to. It wasn’t exactly for Satan, it was more so for you. He thought that what Satan did was immature, childish, and irresponsible. He never said it around you, but you could hear him complaining about it to his other brothers and it only made you feel worse. You tried to find any reason, any excuse for him, to explain away what he did and why he did it because you didn’t want to be upset with him, you didn’t want to doubt him.
You sat in your room, looking down at your daughter who was swaddled snugly in her blankets. You hadn’t been alone when you had her, but no matter who was in the room, it still felt empty. He wasn’t there, he still hadn’t returned. You had given up hope that he ever would, and you had shifted your focus onto the baby girl that depended on you, that needed you. The door to your bedroom creaked quietly, and you didn’t bother to look up. “Did I leave the sink running again? I’m sorry, Lucifer… I’m…” You were tired, running until the early hours of the morning with your daughter. You had no help, and you didn’t ask for the others to help, and even when they offered you’d decline. It wasn’t their job to fill in the blanks that Satan left, and you knew that you’d shortly adjust to doing things on your own. “I don’t think you did. Do you do it often?” Your head whipped up at the sound of his voice, his smile was sheepish and his eyes were soft as he looked at you. One of his hands was filled with pink, gold, and green gift bags, and the other hand had shiny pink balloons that bounced against the ceiling as he walked closer. He saw the way you eyed him, surely confused about how he even knew that you had given birth to a girl and he shook his head, sighing softly. “I kept in touch with Lucifer the whole time… I needed to know you were okay… He told me.” You let out an incredulous laugh, blinking a few times to really be sure that he was there. “You were gone…” You bit your lip, not wanting to lose your temper on him, not wanting to chase him away, but it wasn’t fair that he just got to show up at the end of everything. It wasn’t fair to you, not at all. “You were gone the whole time. You missed everything…” You whispered, taking a deep breath as you picked your daughter up and held her close to your chest. He took it as an opportunity to sit down, taking the spot where she once was, his eyes lighting up slightly when he saw her in your arms. “I’m sorry. I needed time to think and… I didn’t know what to do…” He reached his hand out to brush his thumb over her head, smiling softly when he felt the little bit of peach fuzz that was growing. “It was selfish… And it wasn’t okay for me to leave you.” He took a deep breath, moving his hand from her head to cup your cheek. “I’m here now… and I want to be here. I want to be here with you… and her…” He leaned in to kiss your forehead before resting his own against it, closing his eyes and seeming to finally relax. “I’ll never leave again… I love you... Will you forgive me?”

You were always a perfect student who never had time to focus on making friends or hanging out with people after school. You always had your nose in a book thanks to the constant orders to only focus on studying by your parents.
You graduated early and inherited your father's business, becoming one of the youngest business owners in Korea. This intimidated many people, some of your customers and employers not even being able to look you in the eyes.
But one day when you took over as cash due to an emergency a pregnant employee had. The song God's menu played across the speakers in your store, you enjoyed Stray Kids' music it made you feel free and not have to build up any walls.
You were bouncing along to the Chorus in your 6 inch heels, restocking the bottles of perfume behind the counter.
"Excuse me?" A familiar deep voice called, the freckled idol smiled at you once you turned around.
It was Lee Felix from Stray Kids, holding two of your personal favorite colognes in his hands. They were your favorite ever since your father first let you sample them when you were thirteen. They weren't strong and one smelled like a cool autumn breeze while the other smelled like spring showers.
"Just the two?" You asked, bagging them gently in a paper bag.
You hoped that the idol didn't notice your awkward and stiff dancing as you stocked the shelf behind you. But the soft smile that stayed on his lips said otherwise.
"Aren't you the owner of this business?" He asked, looking at your name tag which was the only one with a last name...the same last name that matched the businesses.
"Yeah, I inherited it from my father. I'm covering for a cashier at the moment. But I don't mind, it's rarely ever busy in here." You answered, adjusting the already tight ponytail you've kept up for the whole day.
"This store is actually one of my favorites. I love the plushie selection here, they are all relatively cheap." Felix
You softly chuckled at his love for the child like items, secretly knowing that he had a love for plushies. Felix was your bias, his sunshine like and free spirit personality always caught your attention. You knew it was due to the fact that you were the complete opposite of him.
"My personal favorite is the No Face plush we have on the top shelf." You reveal, catching his bright gaze.
He shyly grinned at your gaze, almost as if he was waiting for you to finally open up a bit and relax. Felix has visited the store many times, only seeing you come out of your office once or twice... And each time you had a cold expression and had this unapproachable wall built around you.
"Would you like your receipt with it?" You asked, slowly beginning to crawl back into your shell.
"No, but I would like to see you more often." Felix murmured, sliding you a piece of paper with his number scribbled on with a pink pen.
Before you could even reply, the bright younger idol already had a foot out of the door. You had just gotten your biases number... What the hell were you going to do or say if you even called or texted him.
Two months ago
"Lee Felix, is that my coat?" You question, a serious gaze in your eyes as you crossed your arms.
"I'm sorry Noona... It's just so comfy." He whines, tucking his cold hands into the pockets of your VERY expensive coat.
Ever since Felix has been beginning to visit you, he always seems to either steal your clothes or your snacks. You weren't too fond of his new habits and wanted your clothes returned since you barely had any left in your closet.
"Okay okay okay... You can have the coat but you must return my Hello Kitty hoodie tomorrow." You demanded, ruffling his chocolate brown locks.
He rested his head on your lap as you sat down next to him, his arms latched around your waist as he snuggled in closer. You weren't used to affection at all, the closest thing you got to it throughout your life was a pat on the back and a high five.
"You're such a pain sometimes." You sigh, cautiously raking through his hair which caused him to smile.
"Two things, you wouldn't invite me over if I was such a pain. And how am I a pain if I just cuddle you the whole time and chat." He countered, a sly glimmer brushing over his tapioca pearl eyes.
"You steal my stuff all the time." You explain, pointing at your coat which he was currently wrapped in.
"I don't steal everything."
"Name five things."
"Fine, your cat."
"You have joked about stealing him."
"Your food."
"You do all the time Lix."
"....... Oh! I've got one! Ha!"
"Fine, tell me then... I'm sure you're wrong."
"Your sex toys."
You gasped out loud, slapping his arms countless times as he laughed by how red your face turned. He never told you knowing you'd get embarrassed, but he found your bucket of toys last time he visited when he was searching for your extra fluffy blanket to take a cat nap in.
"How many did you see?" You asked, your tone much softer and bordering on shy sounding.
"Enough to know that you're a sub who has a lot of kinks." He teased, winking playfully as he was adoring you bashful state.
Felix found himself admiring your bashful state a bit too much, almost finding it cute by how blushy you were from the topic. He felt an urge to kiss your flaming cheeks, but held back not knowing if you'd take his feelings too well.
"I'll let you keep the Hello Kitty sweater if you never mention my sex toys again." You reason, slightly taken aback when you realize how long he's been staring at you.
Felix nodded, feeling slightly bad for making you so shy. But he made up for his teasing with a soft yet tight hug, still smelling of the cologne he bought when you first met. This time it was just the autumn breeze, which brought you a wave of comfort you weren't used to and never felt before.
You've found yourself admiring everything Felix did, to the way he pouted playfully when you rejected a hug or to the way his tone changed when you were feeling down. Everything about this man made your heart go into a frenzy, and you had no idea anyone was capable of doing this.
You've grown attached to Felix and feel lonely when he isn't with you, you've even considered asking him to move in with you.
"Hello? Earth to y/n." Felix commented, breaking you out of your lovesick gaze.
"Sorry, I'm just really tired from work." You half ways lied, truthfully tired but secretly just admiring the natural beauty of your close friend.
He smiled softly, brushing away some of the loose strands of hair that covered your face. His hands were always so warm and gentle, acting as if your were made of glass that could shatter at any moment. Any time he touched you it either warmed your heart or created a small pool in your panties.
"Why don't I tuck you into bed, and we can watch something till you fall asleep." Felix reassured, a hushed voice but the deepness still present during certain words.
You were in an oversized shirt with small lacy panties, Felix admired your beauty but didn't see it as sexual tension or sexual period. He just found you gorgeous no matter what you did or what you wore. And has even felt sexual tension with you more than once, but that was a different time and place than it was at the moment.
You didn't need to watch anything to fall asleep with Felix wrapped behind you. His voice alone was enough for you to completely destress and feel the hard work you've been doing finally catch up to you.
You were passed out asleep so you didn't notice Felix placing fluttering kisses all over your cheeks before he fell asleep wrapped around you. His head completely nuzzle into the crook of your neck, every hot breath he let out fanned onto your skin.
You woke up the next morning cold, not realizing you were missing a warm presence you never knew was even there. The moment you opened your eyes you were met with a warm dish of pancakes and a small note
'I had to leave for work but I didn't have the heart to wake you up. Enjoy the food - Felix.'
You giggled into the pillow next to you, fully aware that you were head over heels for the younger Aussie. You never thought you'd be attracted to someone younger until you met him, but you didn't mind since it was only by a year. You smushed your blushing face into his pillow, taking in the scent of the spring breeze cologne.
Now
It was hot outside, so much so that you thought you were going to melt into the couch. You didn't think Felix would be home until tomorrow when it was supposed to be cooler outside, so you stayed in your underwear and bra while sitting in front of the fan. Your hair and body were soaked from the cold shower you just took, and you knew if he walked in it would look rather... Sensual.
"Y/n, I know I'm home early but I brought cak-" Felix exclaimed, stopping mid sentence once he saw you and nearly dropped the cake.
You would've covered yourself with a blanket if it weren't for the fact that all of them were in a basket in your room since it was so warm out. You weren't in any lingerie or anything fancy, just a pink bra and cute heart panties. Which somehow made it worse for Felix.
"Why do you always do this?" Felix sighed rushing to the kitchen to place the cake in the fridge.
You were confused as to what you did, knowing you rarely ever show skin on purpose unless it comes to a situation like this where you would pass out from the heat if you wore something too thick. So you followed Felix to the kitchen, not really caring that you still had bare minimum on.
"What do I do?" You ask, your tone was serious but on the inside you were worried you annoyed the man you secretly adored.
"You tease me." He retorted, still confusing you since you again... Never purposely do.
"What do yo-"
"Y/n, you're in your underwear with wet hair and still slightly wet skin while sitting on the couch squirming in front of the fan. And yesterday you bent over me so your chest was literally in my face when you were reaching for a book you wanted to read. I like you a lot... And it takes every ounce of sanity in me to not take you right then and there. And when you cuddle into me during movie nights, or call me Lixie, or laugh at the lamest joke that no else is laughing at, or the way you scrunch your nose when you are annoyed... It makes me want to call you mine and I just want to kiss every inch of you and dose you in love. And it's hard when I truly don't know if you feel the same. "
"Lix I-"
"And you are so damn hard to read, one day you're all over me and the next you barely even give me a glance. And plus you probably don't want to date someone who's younger than you, your friends have even told me that and listed the men you have been with... Which have all been older than you. "
"Felix-"
"But it's hard to stay silent and act like I don't see you as a goddess who I want to be with and be called her boyfriend. Especially when you always wear strawberry chapstick and apply it to your already soft lips. And when you let out a sigh and completely let go whenever I hug you. Or how you can never sleep without holding onto something so you've gotten used to holding me, Instead of your stuffed No Face plushie that I bought you the day after I first met you.
"Yongbok-"
"Goddammit I love you, I love you so much and if I'm being honest I don't know if I can keep pretending like I'm alright just being you're friend or-"
Before he passes out from ranting so much you shut him up in a very satisfying way. You kissed the lips you've been craving for the past six months, and they felt better meshing with yours than you ever imagined. His hands were shaking for all of the built up emotions he just let out seconds ago, but you didn't stop kissing him until he got to calm down and realize you loved him too.
"Lixie, I love you too. And I would love to be your girlfriend." You murmured in a hushed tone, only inches away from his face as you both were still holding onto each other.
His eyes flickered down to your lips, a small playful glint sparkling in them when they reconnected once more. But a new wave a confidence was in this kiss, he cornered you against the counter as he began to nibble on your lip.
You've been with many guys before, but none of them have ever seen you naked or had sex with you. The farthest you have gone with someone was with your ex boyfriend Jaebum, who was your first makeout session and taught you how to use your tongue like a professional porn star.
Felix began leaving open mouthed kisses along your jaw line and neck, only stopping to suck and bite on sensitive spots of your flesh. Painting purple and red marks along your neck and collarbone. Just as his lips were diving into the valley of your breasts, he stopped himself and looked up at you.
"Are you okay with this. Because we can stop at anytime." He reassured, brushing away the wet pieces of hair that stuck to your face.
Everything felt fast and many people would think it was too soon, but you felt so comfortable with Felix and have had feelings for him since you first met. So it felt right, and your heart didn't feel any bit of anxiety when it came to letting Felix take you.
"I'm alright with it, but can we go to the bedroom?" You teased, not wanting your first time to be a serious fifty shades esc time.
He beamed you a kind smiles, lacing his hands with yours as he guided you to your bedroom. Which was lightly messy but still comfortable and tidy enough to not be considered gross. Felix detached from your grip to shut the dark curtains and close the door behind you.
"B-before we continue... Can I tell you something if you promise not to tease me?" You ask, a bit ashamed that your a virgin even though it wasn't uncommon for someone your age who is still considered quite young.
Felix nodded gently, his hands stroking up and down your arms as he waited for you to confess what you were hesitant on telling him.
"I'm a virgin... I haven't even been eaten out before." You sigh, not looking up at his eyes even though he didn't find it lame in the slightest.
"Don't be ashamed of it y/n, it just means I'll have to make it more special." He whispered, his lips pressing soft fluttering kisses to your cheeks as his hands roamed your back.
With that knowledge in mind, Felix rushed to the bathroom to steal the candles and rose petals you always store for your saturday bubble bath routine. He lit two on each bedside table and sprinkled a few rose petals across the bed and pillows.
Felix took your hand as he sat on the edge of the bed, guiding you onto his lap as he grinned at your softly. His tongue peeked out of his lips to wet them, before he pressed them against your once more. This time it still had the same confidence but it was much softer and slower. As if he wanted to take his time with you and make it memorable.
You bit his bottom lips lightly testing the waters to see if you were allowed permission, he groaned as your hips grinded against his growing erection. You didn't even realize what you were doing to him until he pushed your core closer to his clothed cock. The bulge in his jeans grinding against your clothed clit deliciously.
Your tongues were clashing in each other's mouth messily, you would suck on his tongue briefly as his licked striped on the roof of your mouth. You were whispering in the kiss, beginning to rut against him to enhance the euphoric feeling that made your clit begin to throb.
"Do want to feel something even better sweetheart?" He teased, bucking his hips into yours making you fall into him.
Felix flipped you over, stripping away his shirt and jeans. You've never seen him shirtless before, and truly was a heavenly sight with his gorgeous slim yet very toned body and matched with strong dancer thighs. Before he could ask for permission, you sat up slightly, unbuckling your bra and throwing it onto the floor. You both went in for a feverish kiss, both of you groaning and whimpering as you rutted against each other like bitches in heat.
He began to kiss down your neck, reaching the valley of your breasts until his lips hovered over your right nipple. He spit a small drop of saliva onto the erupt bud, before he engulfed it with his lips. Swirling it in circles it his tongue before letting go of it completely with a small pop.
You could feel the wetness in your core begin stain your panties. You moaned airily, running your fingers through his hair as he payed the same attention to your left nipple. He softly grazed his teeth across the very tip of the erect bud only to chuckle softly as let out a desperate moan that went straight to his throbbing bulge.
Felix began kissing his way down your tummy, sometimes switching between giving small kitty licks as he reached closer to where you needed him most. His fingers hooked under the fabric of your panties, pulling them down your legs until you were completely nude in front of him.
Your heart pounded in your chest as the realization that you were about to be eaten out hammered itself in your brain. So many worries slipped into your brain, did you shave enough? What if you smelled? What if you tasted bad? But all of it left when hit tongue first flicked against your clit. All you could see was stars as he sent you into euphoria.
You've never felt such pleasure before, it was almost intimidating by how good it felt. You were on the brink of screaming when he began to sickle on your clit and dark his tongue harsher into it. Small shrieks left your mouth as he lapped your pussy, switching his attention between your leaking hole and throbbing clit. When you were beginning to murmur how close you were, he decided to take the next step and stiff your hole with his fingers. He let them scissor you so that you would eventually get used to the stretch, he sucked on your clit harsher to try and distract you from the stretch of his two fingers.
You got use to his fingers and your loud shrieks of pleasure returned as they began to slowly dark in and out of your leaking hole. The sinful noises of slurping and squelching only making you come closer and closer to your orgasm.
"I-I'm cumm-" You couldn't even finish your seltence before he drove his fingers in and out of you sending you into an intense haze of pure pleasure.
Your legs shook as you came down from your high, Felix pulling you closer to his body as he calmed you down from your first actual orgasm.
"Do you want to stop here?" Felix whispered, stroking his fingers through your hair completely ready to ignore his needs and take care of you.
You shook your head softly, knowing you could take at least one more orgasm before calling the quits. Plus you truly wanted to see the man you've fallen in love with naked, but you would be very bashful if you admitted to it.
"I want to go the full way." You whispered, playing with his boxers causing him to moan rather loudly. Surprising both of you when it it happened.
This just proved how hard he truly was and how thoughtful and gentle he was with you, completely subsiding his own aching needs just to make sure you were okay and got what you wanted.
You pushed him to the bed, smirking confidently as you shimmed his boxers out from under him and threw them to god knows where in the room. Felix was about to protest on you riding him, wanting to take control and make sure your needs are met. But it was too late, since you were already sinking onto him.
The stretch was bearable, it was definitely a feeling that took time to get used to. So you sat there on his lap completely filled to the brim with his dick, Felix sat up wrapping his arms around you and letting you you slump into his body. After a couple of minutes he began to guide you up and down his length slowly.
The pain was beginning to mix with pleasure, before the pleasure completely took over. You began bouncing up and down his shaft with a faster pace, Felix now beginning to fall into your body as the pleasure was catching up to him.
You were so tight and so warm, it was nearly impossible to keep his composure when you felt so good. You were both holding onto each other as you both chased your highs, your hips experimenting by grinding down fully till you were full and swirling them around softly.
His eyes rolled to the back of his head as he mumbled absolute nonsense. His hand went back to your overstimulated clit, drawing rough circles, making you scream in pleasure as tears brimmed your eyes. Your clenching became tighter and more frequent, you increased the pace until you had to stop from the intense pleasure you were feeling. The the tight clench around him made his chase his high only seconds after.
Felix pulled out before spaying white ribbons onto your thighs. Both of you shaking and sticking together from the sweat you have both created due to the body heat.
Felix laid you back down onto the bed, grabbing a tissue from your nightstand as he ruffled rose petals out of his hair and swiping some off of his shoulder. He softly wiped his mess off of your thighs, and took a different tissue to wipe the rest of the remaining cum that was pooled in your core. He rubbed your legs reassuringly when you twitched at the sudden constant, too stimulated and finding it a bit much.
"Are you tired?" Felix asked, noticing the way you cuddled into your pillow.
You nodded without saying a word, but yet still smiling like an idiot. The thoughts of finally losing your virginity, and losing it to a complete angel of a man who you've been doting on for months. It was all so exciting and you couldn't stop the smile on your face even if it began to hurt your cheeks a tiny bit.
He pulled on a fresh pair of boxers before pulling you up to lift his shirt onto you, his lips leaving a small kiss to the tip of your nose by how cute you looked in his clothes. He cuddled behind you, rubbing shaped onto your tummy as he pressed kisses to your neck, jaw, and cheeks. All of the energy that was drained from you along with the calming presence of your new boyfriend made you fall asleep in an instant.
Felix looked at you one last time before he fell asleep, smiling to himself knowing that you were so special and were going to be the one for him.
